Centrally located pension with huge and clean rooms. (My room was at the 1st floor.) Nice old house with a beautiful stairway and a garden in front. No street noise problem since I had the windows closed because of the cold outside. Good beds. The place could need some refurbishment, especially the bathroom. Breakfast buffet poor, not even with the... More

I stayed at Alkaios during a conference at the University of Mytilene and the location was very convenient. Right in the center, only 3 minutes walk to the taxi station (do not use bus, they run every hour or so), close to cafeterias, market and restaurants. The room was absolutely clean and even thought we didn't have any sea view... More

I stayed for a night and I liked this family place . Actually, as a room you can find 5 euro cheaper then this place but with not the same quality. If I come again I will stay here. Which is central, breakfast is at the nice garden with buffet.

Took a chance as I prefer small character hotels rather than the big ones available in Mytilene. The pension was absolutely perfect for a short stay. We were at no 32, a renovated old mansion house, small rooms but clean and fresh sheets/towels, newly fitted bathroom with shower, new beds/wardrobes. Breakfast is described as a light snack, but they offered... More

Although the price was quite good (45 euros/night for double room), in the end if I were asked, I would not pay more than 35 euros/night. The very good thing about the rooms is that they are in central location (like many other rooms, of course). The breakfast is terrible!! It is better not to include such breakfast in the... More

Alkaios rooms is a renovated classic house in the center of the town only few steps from the local market street. The owners Mr Vekris and his daughter Miss Iro, are very friendly & helpful. Our twin bedded room with view to the garden, air-co, tv, fridge & shower, was clean and of course you have the feeling that you... More

It's taken trip advisor several months to find this property to enable me to write a review, so from long distant memory... Some local friends had booked us into the Alkaios Rooms for a few nights as we were attending a wedding in the the town. The Pension has a very good location, only a few minutes walk from the...
