Had 4 lovely nights at the Horn of Plenty. The food in the restaurant was excellent as was the service throughout our stay and our room was clean and modern with good facilities. We will definitely return and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel

We stayed once again at the Horn of Plenty to celebrate my 65th birthday. This is now our go to place of escape, we love it. The whole atmosphere is exceptional, food worthy of its many awards, staff warm, friendly and very professional. WE always have a superior room in the old stable block which are exceptional and well worth...

We dined as a group of six at lunch time. The restaurant was extremely busy with festive diners and on arrival the lounges were full. We were offered the opportunity to be seated in the upstairs library for pre-lunch drinks, which was very cosy. Plesant area to sit with drinks, au d'hourves and time to peruse the menus. We had...

This was the first time we had ever been to this hotel and our stay was truly amazing. Service was fantastic since the moment we stepped through the door. We even had a complimentary upgrade for our room. The room was beautiful! We had huge glass doors which looked out over Dartmoor. The weather wasn't great but we also had...

How anyone could give The Horn of Plenty less than 5 stars is beyond me. I love every single detail. The rooms are individual, beautifully decorated and so comfortable. The hotel itself has been decorated with great attention to detail and is spotlessly clean. Think Laura Ashley type style. Looks like it just kinda turned out fabulous without trying! The...

Very comfortable and well-appointed rooms in a beautiful country setting with superb views across the Tamar Valley to Cornwall. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and give every indication of enjoying their jobs! Rooms in the Coach House are modern and spacious … though a short walk from the main house which on a rainy day can challenge those...

We were there for a family wedding and stayed overnight. The staff were very friendly and worked very hard to make the day special and our overnight stay comfortable. The food was very good for both the wedding supper and the breakfast the following morning. Beautiful views from the dining room were a real bonus. Our bedroom in the coach...

Everything was superb from the minute they answered the phone to my enquiry, our welcome, our stay and even our departure. The setting is just beautiful with lovely views over the valley.
