We just returned from a lovely weekend at the Old Rectory, run by Ian and Anika.The place oozes old-world charm - quirky, sloping floors, that sort of thing. Our room overlooked the river (and the road but there is hardly any traffic at night)

Breakfast very good but felt uncomfortable with owners dogs in rooms communal area and kitchen . Also concerned to see smoke alarm disconected in public lounge , bare wires on light near entrance and broken steps at entrance.
