We were made very welcome on arrival, the rooms are of the best standards with very comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. But most of all, the dinner was a real treat, our hosts don't hesitate to go the extra mile for a gastronomic experience that all the guests shared. The breakfast jams are home made and the best you'll ever...

Wonderful property, setting and large, comfortable suite. Our hosts, Bertrand and Claire were extremely welcoming, hospitable and helpful. We chose to eat in both nights and had a very enjoyable meal with wine provided by our hosts. Great location for exploring the surrounding area - especially Chinon. Private parking a bonus too and a lovely warm swimming pool! A special...

Never had to face such a rudeness and agressivity. You can see by yourself from the responses to any criticism how this man can be aggressIve. He is obviously I n bad need of anger management. As for the place itself, it'S a nice old building. The 'suite' we occupied is nothing more than a room with a nice double...

Never seen a guest like you ! I don't need to read your comment as you spent your time lying all the time, and even mocking me about your dog. You denied I had to clean the entrance door when your dog peed on it, because you were not there to see it... And you denied I had to clean...

A beautiful Manor House in an idyllic location. We stayed in one of the cottages which had been delightfully renovated with tasteful interior design. Bertrand and Claire were wonderful hosts and spoke amazing English. Bertrand is an extremely interesting and cultured chap with a great deal of historical knowledge of the house and area. The highlight of our stay was...

We had one night here but wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts are friendly and charming, and they speak many languages. The dinner was delicious, the pool was wonderful and the room was comfortable. The place is beautiful and tranquil. We hope to come back one day!

Impressive wine cellar where you can buy a great selection of local wines at competitive prices . Very quiet . I ll come back...

The historic nature of this property is amazing and adds to the comfort of the rooms which are airy and comfortable. The breakfast was enormous and quality. Ask the owner to show you the caves (he sells wine occasionally from them). Apparently they were excavated to build the manor and go on forever. So much history! And a garden and...

The owner was very halpful. Very good France breakfast. very clean, nice and comfortable. We stayed 3 nights. In the arriving night we have a great dinner(of course we payed for tihs extra money). it was just wonderfrul as we get the place very very late. מקום לינה מתאים מאוד לטיולים באזור. ארוחת בוקר מצויינת לעומת הארוחות במקומות אחרים בצרפת.

The Chancellerie has new owners as of this summer. They were charming hosts, people with a real sense of hospitality and very attentive. Our spacious room, as you can see in the photos, was beautiful, with a comfortable bed and nice bed linens. (Another reviewer mentioned the towels, and yes, they weren't as nice as everything else) The breakfast which...

We stayed here 3 nights. We enjoyed the hospitality, the peacefulness of the countryside, the French garden. Breakfast was convenient and energized us, since we were away most of the day. The room (Colibri) was very spacious and looked marvelous, though a bit damp. The pool could have been a bit more cleaner; we didn't use it since the weather...
