This place is perfect if you're looking for quiet stay in the veldt. The rooms are gorgeous and luxurious. The setting of every room is private - especially the honeymoon suite. There is one communal kitchen. Every chalet has a corner of the kitchen, with own stove, cupboards and cutlery, fridge. The kitchen is not of the same standard as...

Just returned from an amazing 2 night stay at Haaspoort. Wish we could've stayed longer., and next time we will. We booked all 4 cottages at Haaspoort for my dad's 60th birthday celebration. It was such a treat. We arrived at about lunch time on our first day. The staff were really sweet and welcoming. We were really impressed by...

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Haaspoort for 2 nights in July in unit 3 and friends of ours in unit 2. The accommodation was luxurious and neat with a homely feel. Haaspoort is easily accessible by sedan, easy to find and yet surrounded by mountains. The staff, Jacobus & Cynthia, were very welcoming and spoiled...

We recently spend 2 nights at Haaspoort Bushcamp and will definetely return again. The accomodation is great and the staff (Jacobus & Cynthia) very helpful. The kids loved exploring the many marked walking trails and without any light pollution the stars are just so much brighter. Victor showed us the property and some interesting facts during a great sunset game...

My dad and I recently had the pleasure of staying with Victor and Lindsay for a few days at their Haaspoort lodge. Their property is simply exquisite. The landscape is rugged, beautiful and absolutely FULL of life everywhere you look. In one glance we would routinely see multiple species of exotic wild animals roaming at their pleasure. At night, we...

We unfortunately only spent one night last weekend at Haaspoort Bushcamp but LOVED every second of it :) There was heavy rain the week preceeding our visit which meant that our 4x4 looked like a mud cake from the word go. It also meant, to my fiace’s delight, that we went slip sliding around the 4x4 tracks in the reserve....

The location is almost unfindable. No road signs and pretty much unreachable by normal car. The stay was ok; really remote and you should calculate an 1 to 1,5 hour drive from the main road R329. We booked an early morning gamedrive in advance, but due to the rain (only soft rain) the game drive was cancelled by the people...

It's distressing for us as owners to read a review like this especially when it's such a one-sided personal attack devoid of any truth. As owners we find it natural to be friendly and courteous to all our guests. This particular guest was extremely rude from when we met him and on more than one occasion complained about the weather...
