We booked this holiday ages ago and once booked we then read the reviews! i was horrified that this holiday was going to be marred by the unfriendly staff, dirty hotel and horrible food - we even tried to call the travel agent and change our hotel but were not able to due to the busy time of year. Im...

I can see why other people are disappointed with this resort. It is not a budget place (although the Cook Islands in general is not cheap) but it kind of feels like it. There is so much potential here but needs some cash spent to get it to were it needs to be. We found the rooms to be adequate,...

This is our 3rd time to Rarotonga, obviously we love it. it's our second time to this particular resort, overall I must say I was, it was Ok! What I would love to say is that the resort had been kept maintained, but it wasn't. Which was a little disappointing at first but you get over it once you are...

I was extremely frustrated because before arriving in the Rarotongan Beach Spa Resort, I'd been reading very negative reviews and this had me panicking and doubting our choice because we had planned our wedding here and had encouraged other family members to stay here as well. Immediately upon arrival our fears and doubts were subsided and none of the complaints...

Just returned from our holiday and I want to let you all know that the Rarotongan was perfect for us. My daughter and I initially booked in to the Palm Grove but though the Fligt Centre advised us that they were similar resorts and that there was better service there we found this to be untrue. When we changed to...

We have previously stayed at two five star properties in Fiji so it was hard not to compare facilities. Once we had accepted that this resort was not in that league I think we enjoyed it more. The grounds are well kept and the rooms are clean. My only suggestion is around the pool where very little cleanup is done....

I stayed here with my adult daughter for 6 nights and this was my 7th stay here over a 15 year period. I had read some negative reviews prior but can say that the resort was in much better condition than my last stay a couple of years ago. The room was more than fine, definately not luxury but very comfortable...

As a Trip Advisor contributor, I certainly should have checked the reviews before we booked here through travelonline.com -- NO WAY we'd have booked, had we done this. The resort is not only tired -- we can deal with that -- but it is dirty, as in the kind of dirty that requires some serious scrubbing from floors to doors...

Found the resort to have all that was necessary for all involved. The rooms are a bit tired and need refurbishing but they are clean and rooms are serviced every day.Great breakfast room overlooking the sea where the fish come...
