We visited the rarotongan and sanctuary several times including Xmas day . The outdoor facilities are very good , nice pools , plenty of chairs and seating . You can feed fish right off the seaside deck. One of the best features for us was the great snorkeling beach right in front of the resort, lots to see and plenty...

I also stayed here over Christmas & have to agree with previous review re staff. Lovely people but lacking in training. Food. Ok but 1.5hrs to wait for meal far too long & meals not coming out for all at sametime or at least close. Some of us would finish before others had even received the meal. The pool. Well,...

Stayed here over Christmas and New Year 2013-2014. Family with nine of us in 3 rooms. The staff are friendly but desparately lack training - a management responsibility. The rooms need renovation and the kitchens are poorly stocked. One room had 7 forks, 1 knife and two spoons for a two bedroom that sleeps up to 6 people. The worst...

Lovely place in a lovely country. Fantastic island getaway was everything it was advertised as. Be sure to pack food in sealed bags even in the rooms as the ants have no mercy. Snorkeling was fantastic and just 20 metres from the room to the water! Bliss!

We have stayed her2 twice once in Nov 2011 and again in Nov 2012. In December 2013 we visited Rarotonga again but decided to stay in a 4 star resort in Muri beach as we didn't have the kids. I must admit I still preferred staying here. On our first trip our eldest child ( 8) was in the kids...

We stayed here for our honeymoon trip, 2 weeks at the Rarotongan and 1 week at Aitutaki Lagoon resort (same property) where we actually got married. Before leaving we read the feedbacks on the Rarotongan and were a little worried on what to expect: many people lamented about slowliness in the restaurant, poorness of the breakfast and cleanliness. But, as...

Stayed at Onemaru villa & had our wedding on Aroa beach opposite. Beautiful accommodation, perfect for entertaining! It is offsite to the resort which makes it private. Housekeeping clean daily & it is close to cocoput which turned out to be a great place for night mini golf with an after party.
