Have just spent 4 nights here, and as always it was fantastic, amazing breakfasts and we met Jack, an adorable Border Terrier who my wife and daughter were able to take out for a walk, which they were very pleased about. I can't recommend this place enough, we have been coming here since 2002 and since last year we have...

My husband booked this B and B for valentines weekend and we were really pleased with it. The owner, Carol, was incredibly friendly, nothing too much trouble and I almost kidnapped Jack, the cutest dog in the world! The room was really nicely decorated and had everything that we could need. The four poster bed was comfortable and there is...

Stayed for one night for a conference, it's a shame we couldn't stay longer really. I've never felt so welcome in a guest house at the lady who runs the place went above and beyond to help us wherever she could! Would definitely recommend and hopefully will come again!

On a first trip to the UK and found this extremely lovely B & B while researching. Located several miles outside of the city centre of York, it was the perfect spot to get away from it all after a day of sight seeing. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Carol with tea and the most delicious cake you can...

We were two couples who stayed at this B&B for three nights. We found Carol, our hostess, very welcoming and helpful in making excellent suggestions for eating out nearby. She welcomed us with a pot of tea and cake. She also prepared cooked breakfasts to order in addition to offering fresh fruit, yoghourt and various cereals. She also gave us...
