We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a small group (4) tour of Turkey. Comfortable cabins in a glorious garden setting. A few days relaxing by the pool and a walk on the Lycian Way. The highlight of our stay was the superb home cooked meals with views over the butterfly valley. Not to mention Bayram and his...

This was the perfect stay. Not for the fridge or the mini bar that our room didn't have, but for everything else that made our two night stay here special. We arrived late and with Bayram's guidance were able to get to the property without hassle. It's about a 20 minute dolmus drive from Oludeniz, a steep climb amongst wonderful...

Only stayed for 2 nights but would love to come back again. Great hospitality. Bayram and his family really looked after us. Did a couple of great walks and came back to beautiful food - the best we had on our trip to Turkey. Great place to relax at night.

Montenegro Motel has a majestic view of the mountains coming down to the sea. Magic sunsets are enjoyed over dinner. The food was excellent, tasty from fresh local produce. The comfortable cabins are set in a lovely garden. The owner, Bayram, is very kind and competent. His smile would light up a fair sized town.

We stayed here for a week and it was fabulous, The location is great, the views are outstanding & stunning. The family who run this jewel of a place looked after us as though we were part of their family, right from a very warm welcome when we arrived, which was very late at night, food was prepared for us...

I was lucky enough to stay here. The owners are very welcoming and characterful and add to the charm of this unique place. It is very spacious, clean and incredibly peaceful and a great antidote to a days walking.

We stopped here one night while walking the Lycian Way. We loved the simple cabins located around a pool. There is an outdoor bar and dining area where we started our evening then we moved to the inside dining area where our hosts lit a warming fire. We appreciated the packed lunches that were prepared for our next days walk....

We were walking for six days on the Lycian Way and the Montenegro was our first stop. Spotlessly clean cabins set around a lovely pool. Plentiful breakfast, tea and coffee available all day (just help yourself) and a delicious four course meal in the evening. Bayram is extremely knowledgeable about the area and can advise of activities and walks and...

I stayed here for one night on a DBB basis after completing the first stage of the Lycian Way with theuntravelledworld.com. I had pre-booked my room at the "motel" by emailing the establishment in advance. The word "motel" is very misleading; it's nothing of the sort. It simply consists of a number of cabins - part-brick, part-wood - around a...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are a family run, relaxed hotel in a garden with parking in protected countryside above the legendary Butterfly Valley in Faralya. We have 10 ensuite rooms, one apart house and one interconnected room– some traditional timber chalets around our swimming pool and a few more stone built in the olive groves. They are modern with wifi access and air conditioning…In summer our dining room is outside on our terrace. We make as much use as possible of our own and local produce to create five course dinners. In winter, spring and autumn we are equipped for walkers who want to trek the famous Lycian Way and admire the wildlife – eagles, storks, even dragonflies and of course butterflies and wonderful fauna. In summer you can just laze around our pool or visit one of the five spectacular beaches nearby or go shopping in Fethiye. Our sunsets are spectacular. And being higher up the air is cooler than in the bottom of the valley where temperatures will be well over 30 degrees. We can also arrange boat trips and other excursions if you want to explore this historic and undiscovered part of the world. Some people call it paradise. Well, we like it anyway...Visit us and it will be our pleasure to show you why. ... more   less
