Looking for a last night stop on our way home and wanting a place with a good restaurant the hotel website meant this looked the ideal choice. The greeting on arrival was extremely warm and friendly and when we wanted to change rooms it wasn't an issue. Bedrooms in the main building were more traditional while those in the annexe...

Have stayed 3 times now. This last time in July 2016 we had a disabled person with us. SInce our last stay they have expanded in to another building ajoining the main hotel. Access to these rooms included a lift so there were no issues for our disabled person. Rooms were moden, large and comfortable. The town is just simply...

This is a hotel with character and style, beautifully furnished, a step back into the past with all the modern amenities you could wish for. The cuisine is exceptional and the village setting is a delight. We have been returning here for over a decade and love it!

Hotel is located in a small village in a beautiful area with many opportunities for cycling and walking. We stayed in the old part of the hotel that has not been modernized in the last twenty to thirty years. This obviously has a certain nostalgic charm, but after a while you may miss a well equipped bathroom, a modern bed...

Simple but cosy hotel. Friendly staff. The hotel is situated in a beautiful region(Ardennes) and is a great starting point for walking and cycling. We had a great time there exploring the memorials of the Great War in the surrounding area. Last but not least: the hotel has an excellent restaurant.

We stayed here one night in a lovely, spacious room with a giant bathroom and balcony. Very reasonably priced (however, lots of stairs). Friendly staff and a nice restaurant downstairs. Best option, along with the hotel across the street, in the small towns in this area of France with many small towns with little services. This town has a small...

This hotel is a sheer delight: a small, old-fashioned, French country hotel, cleverly and tastefully modernised. We were warmly received, our bedroom was quiet and comfortable, and the restaurant was well, but not overpoweringly, furnished. The menus were fairly short (which is always reassuring) but well-chosen, and the cooking seriously good. I think that, when planning our future travels in...

We have just returned from our fourth visit to this absolutely lovely hotel in Signy L'abbaye. I have quickly looked through the reviews and I can't understand how anyone could see any fault in the whole hotel or restaurant- they are both perfect. They don't pretend to be a pretentious chain sort of hotel or restaurant - the rooms are...

We stayed a night at Auberge de l'Abbaye on our way south towards south of France. Tucked away in the Ardennes' this little village boasts two small hotels - both on the same square. While La Petite Abbaye has extremely high ratings, it looked almost deserted - and at the same time Auberge de l'Abbaye with less impressive scores seemed...
