To enjoy the isle you have to get the car. A very nice beach is close by with few restaurants you can possibly walk to. We used the bikes as well but it was too hot to cycle and with many ups and downs, therefore decided to rent a small car at a very good price to fully enjoy the many wonderful beaches.
