We spent a night here at the end of a sailing holiday before flying home the next day. It's a beautiful hotel. The staff took the time to allocate me the room 'Hardy' as that is my surname which was a lovely and memorable touch. Staying in this beautifully restored building was a lovely finale to our holiday and I...

The Friday night BBQ at the Copper and Lumber Store in Nelson's Dockyard was recommended to us and it lived up to all expectations. Great food, beautiful views with open air seating under gazebos. Service was similar to the Shirley Heights BBQ - pick what you want, pay at the counter and get your token and then collect at the...

I arrived tired after a long journey, and it took me a day to get used to this place, but I ended up loving it, so I wouldn't judge by first appearances. Situated in English Harbour in an amazing old building, this hotel doesn't have balconies etc, and is mostly made of old dark wood. It is however beautifully kept,...

Fresh grilled Lobster was delicious! The atmosphere and music had a laid back caribbean lounge vibe and the crowd was a nice mix of tourists and locals. Picture this, the harbor views dotted with luxury yachts, the sound of the ocean, and the cool sea breeze on your skin while dancing under the stars to the reggae beat. Yeah mon!!

Lovely location especially before and after the cruise ship tourists arrive atmospheric hotel but due to its age some rooms can be noisey.wooden floors and ceilings. Great helpful staff especially Gillian who sorted out our room problems.

Our second visit to this hotel in Nelson's Dockyard. Same, fixed taxi fare from the airport $31 US (Remember to use the official taxi counter) and a warm welcome at the hotel's reception. Came on the Virgin flight and booked the accommodation separately which was a much better deal. Initially in the huge 'Freelance' room and then moved back to...

First, we love this place and would stay again. Love the people, the location, the charm of our suite. Love the sights and sounds around us. It is a small hotel and very quiet at night (except Friday night when a huge seafood dinner is served outside). Right on the water. No beach and very much not a resort. If...

We have enjoyed our holiday with our 7 year old son so much. The hotel staff have been SO friendly and helpful. They have arranged tours for us and allowed us to extend our checkout as we do not leave until 3pm this afternoon. They lent us towels for the beach and made such a fuss of our son. Our...

We booked in here after our flight was cancelled and so pleased that we did, one of the most beautiful places to stay, very close to the harbour and great restaurants. We really loved the suite and the whole place oozes a fantastic atmosphere. Lovely comfy beds and well equipped rooms. Staff are very welcoming and overall we were very...
