We decided on the Tamarijn based on a friend's recommendation. This all-inclusive has a great location if you are interested in a very relaxed beach vacation but enjoy a close proximity to town (20 minute walk). All rooms are located on the beach and have a view that does not disappoint and we enjoyed watching the cruise ships come and...

I travelled here with my husband, son-11, and daughter-10. This was our first vacation on an island as a family and our stay at The Tamarijn was wonderful! We were there from March 3 till the 10th, but we would have loved to stay longer! Everything is right there. Once we got off the bus, there is the check-in lobby,...

I traveled here with my extended family President's week 2012. On the one hand, the property is nice as compared to New York in the winter. You could do a lot worse. Small things, which might not bother some, could be a real annoyance or downer on your vacation. 1. The staff always seems unhappy. This might not seem like...

This was our first experience flying or staying at a resort, we have drove to Flordia and Myrtle Beach and stayed in condo's. We picked Aruba because we thought it would be a safe place where there would be no worries, and we could explore, boy were we right, the people are so friendly and helpful. I researched all the...

We've just returned from a great week at the Tamarijn/Divi and felt that the resort provided good value and excellent access to the beach. Looking at some of the negative reviews, it seems that people's views are very much affected by the price they paid and whether they feel they got a bargain. I found nothing to justify the very...

This is a small resort, and everything is close by. I enjoyed my stay. As I do not hang out at the bar, when I did I was always treated good.. Lots of kids, and not alot of shade. Resort is in a perfect location . Buffet could ave been better. The others were good. The snack bar made great...

We just returned from a week spent at the Tamarijn Aruba AI and it is not a hotel to which we would consider visiting again because the negative aspects far outweighed the positive. PROS: Beach is gorgeous and is just outside your hotel room. A nice wooden walkway runs from the Tamarijn over to the sister resort, the Divi. Many...

We just returned from a week at the Tam. There were seven of us ranging in age from 5 to 89 years old. The resort layout was perfect for us and we requested 1300 block, which is where we were located. Everything was so close to the rooms. Being able to walk out our door right on the beach was...

Stayed for 2 weeks - although the accomodations are not "deluxe" they are spacious, clean, and right on the beach (where else would you want to be when in Aruba). The choices for dining were more than adequate, the food was well prepared and delicious, the gym facilites were more comprehensive than many 5 star hotels... What truly made the...

We loved, loved the private feel to the beach. Whichever palapa you choose, there is nothing (and no one!) between you and the beach. The views are unmatched and make for complete relaxation Fantastic!! The food was average, but the availabiltyand economy of the all inclusive almost more than makes up for it. It even worked for us to go...
