Hotel's Favourite
The Barcelo was a terrific place to spend my first ever week in Aruba. The hotel and the island felt extremely safe and clean during covid times. Social distancing signs everywhere and masks on inside. The location is stunning, right on a white sandy beach. A handful of restaurants right on the property was so convenient. We loved sitting in the lounge at night listening to the pianist or hanging out in the casino. The high rise area is also fun to explore outside of the hotel, especially at night with the pop up shops. Our room was cleaned daily by the sweetest woman, Belinda. My cousin & I kept forgetting that the room key could not be near your phone as it de-magnitizes it. Needless to say we asked Belinda for help more times the not letting us in, and she did so with a smile and such a happy attitude. We were sure to leave her a nice tip. All of the island locals were very helpful and kind. I highly recommend the Barcelo for a fantastic all inclusive stay and can't wait to return!

The service at the Royal level was very good. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Martin, the concierge was absolutely amazing. He is prompt, on point, and makes sure your reservations are reserved. He made a wrong thing right for me and my friends and I really appreciate that. Joyce was an amazing server at Royal level. Highly recommend.

I booked a ocean view and got over the pool. It was still a beautiful view but very noisy. Food was Ok but when you get an all inclusive that is what you get most of the time. It was not bad food but buffet style. Beware of the Covid test. They had told us to get a PCR test that runs between 80.00 to 150.00. I walked in 1 place and they said 115.00 and I said thanks anyway. So the nice lady explained to us that going to the US you only had to have the Antigen test which was 35.00! To top that off no one ever aske for it at the airport! The do coming in to the country but not going out!!! I would stay again loved the beach! The bar in the evening was nice they had music every night some not so good!

The Royal Club Restaurant is my absolute favorite. Worth the upgrade. The staff Joyce and Sylvester are always so accommodating and friendly. The can assist you with gluten free options and you must try the white sangria! Where else on the island can you get lobster tails all inclusive!!!
