Built in 1906, Rosedon Hotel is a charming, intimate, Bermudian boutique hotel, centrally located within walking distance of our main city, Hamilton. The main house is surrounded by lush tropical gardens with heated swimming pool and fountains offers a quiet place to relax. Each room features it’s own covered porch and private sitting area to take in the view. Rosedon renovated the entire main house inside and out in early 2017 and introduced a new restaurant called ‘Huckleberry’; a nod to Mark Twain. Some of our Hotel amenities include ‘Triple Filtered’ in room drinking water, a heated outdoor swimming pool, traditional afternoon tea and a Bermuda Rum Swizzle party every Tuesday evening by the pool. Guests are also offered daily transportation and access to a pink sand beach located on the South Shore. Our Rooms are individually decorated with European fabrics and feature different furniture and bed sizes. Some of our rooms feature baths while others have showers. We are also committed to being environmentally conscious through solar hot water, LED lights inside and out, waste reduction and recycling. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is available in our new restaurant ‘Huckleberry’, located in the main house and front porch. Room service is also available, served to the room, patio / balcony or at Pool side. Rosedon has an excellent reputation with a strong repeat guest following. Choose to get the ‘real feel’ of Bermuda by being spoiled by our long serving Bermudian staff. A uniquely Bermudian Hotel that offers a uniquely Bermudian experience!

My husband and I stayed here for one week over the Christmas holiday. From the moment we set foot on the property, we were treated like treasured guests. There was always someone present on the beautiful front porch to greet you as you walked by or came onto the porch. We

Dear StevenIX1593YR Greetings from the Rosedon! We thank you for choosing us as your hotel to stay while in Bermuda and for also sharing your feedback on your experience. It's very exciting to read you had a pleasurable welcome from our doorman and we appreciate you highlighting the attentive and friendly service from our team. Thank you for your suggestion regarding the sidewalk. I agree, it is not dangerous at all however I can understand the convenience of the sidewalk extending to the property and it is worth looking into. We are thoroughly glad to know overall our location benefited you with comfort, peace, and easy accessibility into the city. It was a treasure having you stay with us. Thank you for recommending Rosedon Hotel and we look forward to your next visit. Warm Regards, Jecoa Tucker Director of Rooms

I recently spent six nights at the Rosedon for a business trip. As it is such a small hotel, I was a little apprehensive- I needn’t have been. The staff were super friendly, addressing us by name every time we saw them and constantly checking if we needed anything. The room was

Service is top notch. We had many meals-all well prepared including a special event. We had caught fish and the 2 chefs prepared a great diner. I loved the older decor. we were across from a beautifully terraced bay view and enjoyed the rosedan landscaping.

Agree with other posts--very quiet, not really suitable for young children. We loved it! We stayed in a second-floor deluxe room in the section beyond the pool. Two floors in that area. The main building also has two floors of rooms, but it sits up higher than the rear extensions.

Don’t think Rosedon Hotel have tennis courts but they have some at Hotel Hamilton Princess which is across the road- not sure if non residents can use them. Think there are some public tennis courts in Hamilton which is only 5 mins walk Suggest you speak to Rosedon Hotel, the staff are very helpful

The Rosedon isn't family UNfriendly, but if your kids are little, I would look for another hotel. The other reviewer mentioned a beach across the street, but I'm not sure what that refers to. The Hamilton Princess is across the street but there's no beach. They have all kinds of children's activities for hotel guests if that's what you're looking for. The Rosedon has a free shuttle to their beach on the south shore--about 15 minutes away. The town of Hamilton has numerous restaurants of all kinds within a 15 minute walk. Since you can't rent a car in Bermuda, just scooters, you would need to depend on the very good public transportation system (or take a taxi) to attractions that are scattered all over the island. There is a free rum swizzle party on Tuesday at the Rosedon. On other days, there is a free afternoon tea at 4, but no free happy hour.

I would say no. It seems to be mostly adult tourists and business people, so I think children yelling would not be good.
