Last year I went for lunch only at Sorobon and was trully impressed, so when I returned unexpectedly to Bonaire this january I could not resist spending a night here before heading back to Curacao. I was offered an upgrade so stayed in a Beach Villa, a couple of steps from the sandy beach. As tastefull as the resort itself,...

Sorobon is a collection of rustic (quite rustic) casitas located on Lac Bay, a shallow water mecca for windsurfing. Lac Bay is also great for families with children as it's quite shallow, clear and warm. Sorobon is (depending on which casita you're in) a 1-2 minute walk from the windsurfing centers, so if you're going to Bonaire for the watersports,...

We got a 15-minute taxi from the cruise terminal to check out this beach. Most of Bonaire's beaches for good for snorkeling whereas this one is the sandy beach that you can relax and play in. We rented a chair ($5) and wasted the day away staring at the beautiful clear waters.

Not a very large beach but the water is soo beautiful and warm and you can walk out for what seems to be miles and it gets no higher than chest deep all the way to the reef then, lots of kite boarders. If you're willing to walk all the way out there is a swim platform to stop at...

This beach and bar are so fun! The beach is pristine white and the water is agua blue and warm. Windsurfers everywhere and you can take lessons if you want! Highly recommend. Places to lay out, go in beautiful ocean and wind surf.

We just went there for lunch, and we really enjoyed it! We ate at the bar, the view was great and food was really good. There even was one of these iguana around us hopping to get a little bite. We recommend it.

We have gone to this beach twice now when our cruise ship docked at Kralendijk. It is only $5 to get to this beach which is on the other side of the island. Water is warm, waves are practically non-existent and you can go far out in the ocean and still only be up to your knees in water. Chair...

The only beach in Bonaire where you have to pay entrance fee for the beach ($5) ànd pay handsomely for your lounger ($15) too. When I pay 5 star prices, I expect 5 star service & quality. But the roof of the cabanas almost fall apart on your head, the menu has been reduced to burgers only (what happened to...

3rd time to Bonaire, first time staying here but will definitely keep coming back to Sorobon. Location is quiet but as close to windsurfing humanly possible. Friendly staff, clean and safe , beautiful views everywhere! Well worth it. Stopped being 'clothing optional' many years ago so this isn't an issue.
