The casa is located close to a main roundabout, and the windows are not the most soundproof. Besides, at this moment a new hotel is being constructed on a 24/7 basis right next to the casa, so the place is extremely loud. Unlike average Havana apartment rates of 25 USD, Wilfredo takes up to 60 USD - which is a...

I read one of the reviews which was titled "construction and traffic noise" and totally agree with it. In addition to that, the sliding door in the shower was not closing and needed to be repaired. Also the shutter windows were not closing fully in the room. There was already enough noise from the busy road which gave me two...

The house is in Havana Vieja but pretty close to El Malecón, Havana centro and Paseo Marti. You have views to the Morro Castle from the balcony. The house has high ceeling and big windows so it never gets too hot there. Wilfredo is a very nice chap, very helpful, really enjoyed chatting with him, if you need any tip...

There is a huge construction site next door and busy road nearby. We kept waking up by trucks coming and going, workers talking and loud music playing for the whole night and the road traffic noise started around 6am. The closed windows couldn't block any outside noise. Make sure to bring your ear plugs if you choose to stay here....

We felt very welcome. They have an adorable pekinese dog. Great breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs, a plate filled with fresh fruit, fresh fruit juice, an avocado, bread and coffee/tea for only 5 CUC. Wilfredo answers any questions you have. We liked the location.

Ideal location for old Havana. Wilfredo was very friendly and very helpful arranged a 1947 American taxi both to and from the Viazul bus station 10 CUC each way and to the airport for CUC 25. Also gave us advice on local restaurants and site's. A very old apartment on the first floor with all the original features.

Wilfredo and his family are super hospitable and one of the highlights of my trip to Havana. He takes great care and offers a great breakfast which included fresh fruit, freshly made juice, eggs, meat, and coffee. My girlfriend and I booked the room with the intention of perhaps staying in one of the premium hotels for the night of...

We stayed in various casas in Havana but Wilfredo's was special as you are literally staying with the family and sharing their home. They are warm and friendly people. The breakfast was very large and filling. The location is perfect as you are right near Havana Vieja. Wilfredo has great recommendations for restaurants too. The house is beautiful with tall...

We had the greatest experience in Havana last December 2013. We spent 5 nights in Casa Wilfredo. The booking was arranged trough Alberto, from www.habanacasaparticular.com. who also offered us the transport from the airport to Casa Wilfredo for an affordable amount of money. Wilfredo and his wife really took care of us, preparing our breakfast every morning (fresh fruits and...
