We were in this Casa for a total of 4 nights, 3 at the beginning of our stay and one at the end. The casa is kind of two houses side by side. All rooms we saw had en-suite bathrooms (showers of course) and air con. Rooms were comfortable and well looked after. The left hand entry door has 4...

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed every minute. All the staff were helpful and kind. Breakfast was generous with coffee, tea, fresh rolls with butter, fresh fruits, juice, and eggs to order. Our beds were comfortable, the air conditioning cooled us efficiently and the shower had great water pressure. We loved the location, an easy...

At the end of our tour in cuba, after sleepeing in some great casas in Cuba, our tour operator reserved this "casa". It was absolutly different from all the other places where we were we were like guests of our hosts. Here there are about 14 tiny rooms, with old and lousy furnitures. The aircondition was just making noises but...

The title pretty much says it all. This "casa" is very well located in centum of old Havana. Our bedroom had all the needed facilities for a few days stay, it was very clean and with good working AC. Breakfast was shared with other guests in a common table, while looking at the cooker preparing the eggs. I really liked...

We stayed here four nights in december. It's well situated to explore the old town. Beautiful sitting room, reasonable bedrooms. Good breakfast. Very handy rooftop bar. Very friendly staff who speak English. Downside is three flights of stairs to get to it. Somewhat confusing entrance, with two front doors and two doorbells and no siign giving the name of the...

This casa - if with 14 bedrooms it is a casa - was very difficult to find, especially as we didn't have the luxury of a taxi and were dropped quite a few streets away by our Cuba Direct rep, who promptly disappeared as soon as we asked where our casa was located. On arrival we were confronted with 3...

We've stayed in Casa Emilio twice during our holiday in October/November 2014, the location turned out to be very convenient, just two blocks away from Plaza de la Catedral in Habana Vieja. This makes it a perfect place to stop if you are willing to spend some time wandering though the narrow streets of the Old Town (Habana Vieja). Famous...

I booked a room at Casa Emilio last December and arrived there not knowing what to expect. From the exterior, it was unassuming (much like most of la Habana Vieja). But once I entered the interior of the gorgeous casa, I was blown away. When you stay at Casa Emilio (which I strongly advise), you're greeted with warm smiles by...

I was there 2 times with my daughter in january 2014. We couldn't get away because we felt 'at home' there. Leo is one of the english speaking managers, he helps you finding everything you need. Good breakfast, fresh and a good dinner too. Clean and beautifull rooms and a central cosy kichen. Good price at a central place in...

I stayed at Emilio's with two friends in November 2013. We stayed for a total of 5 nights (4 at the beginning of our Cuban trip, and 1 at the end, after visiting some other cities). We had to climb up 3 flights of stairs to reach the lobby, where we were met by a kind gentleman who welcomed us...

“The rooms that are accessible directly from the living room are a bit noisy until all of the other guests drop off to sleep. If you plan to sleep early (unlike the majority of the guests) - ask for the rooms along the gallery inside the house, they are more quiet.”
