We stayed with Lidia and Argelio for our first 3 nights in Havana and again on our last night. Their home was a wonerful base from which to explore Havana...its just a sort walk from the old part of the city, and very near the sea front too. Lidia is so warm and helpful- she basically organised the rest of... More

Always smiling, helpful and generous, once again, the Cuban hospitality at its best. Add it a perfect location two steps away from the Prado, a terrace, a generous breakfast and clean and spacious rooms. Ideal for a family as those bedrooms can communicate.

I was travelling with my brother who had stayed at the casa before, as it was my first time to Cuba, I did not know what to expect. Yamilut (owners daughter) and Ernesto were very friendly and helpful. They pointed out the location of the casa and where all the main sights were nearby. They welcomed us with a glass... More

The first stop in our trip around Cuba was "Casa Lidia y Argelio" and as it turned out in the end, it was a best place we've stayed at during our visit. The house is located in the center of Havana (Malecon), 1min to Malecon front, 5min to El Paseo de Prado (main promenade) and some 10min to the city... More

I found this casa particulares a month before we went to Havana. I wasn't sure what i would expect, but saw a few good reviews and decided to book it. After the trip to Cuba i can certainly recommend this casa to any visitors going there. We had a wonderful time. The lovely couple that manages it 'Yami' and 'Ernesto'... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at this casa for four nights at the beginning of our trip to Cuba. It was the perfect start to a brilliant trip. The location is excellent- within short walking distance of all the main attractions and the hosts Jame and Ernesto were incredibly helpful, welcoming and friendly. We had breakfast here daily and it... More

I recently stayed at Casa Lidia y Argelio for my very first (and solo!) trip to Cuba and absolutely LOVED it! My original plan was to stay in Havana for just 3 days, but I canceled the rest of my trip and spent my entire week in the city just because I loved this casa. Let me start out by... More

From the moment we entered the apartment, we knew this place will be like home. Lidia and her sister Marta are so friendly and helpful, also Yamile the maid that prepared us breakfast. The rooms are clean and so is the kitchen. The location seems tiny scary but its just a 5 min walk to parque central, capitolio and all... More

Casa Lidia y Argelio is a nice apartment with a few rooms for rent in the heart of Central Habana, just a few blocks from the Malecon and the Parque Central. I appreciated the hospitality of Lidia (especially her candid views about the government and her experience working for the National Library in the 1980s). The room and bathroom were... More
