I seem not to be able to find an entry for the restaurant only, so here my review anyway. We have not stayed at the hotel, but have had a nice dinner at their restaurant. There is a front part with a view of the plaza and the church. Food was prepared fresh, was good and a nice presentation and...

This hotel is not rated well here and I can see why. My travel agent assured me it was good because of its location and it's definitely in the centre of town. We had a "good" room which faced the square. This meant we could access wifi from our room which was good. However the room has no windows! You...

Supposed to have been restored quite recently but appears to have gone downhill since as the room we had looked very tired. No chair skimpy sheets on bed and rather dodgy shower in the bathroom. There was no glass window only shutters so we either had darkness or all the noise from outside. Breakfast was adequate(just) but when we tried...

This small quaint hotel is right on the central square of Camaguey. We had an upstairs room that opened up onto a balcony overlooking the square. The rooms are well appointed and the staff were friendly. There are only two floors to this hotel but there is no elevator so if you have difficulty climbing up and down stairs, you'd...

This historic small hotel is located well, right in the middle of the historic town. The bar acts as the reception. There is no lift so your suitcases have to be carried upstairs. The public areas of the hotel are open i.e. there is no air conditioning. The restaurant is open to the main square so there are quite often...

The hotel was filthy and our room, upstairs and at the front of the hotel was like staying in a dungeon – no windows and therefore no natural light – only timber doors leading to a shared balcony. If you opened the doors your were 'on display' to everyone in the square. Lots of noise from the square at night....

An old colonial building but the hotel has only been operating briefly. Nice well restored rooms with comfortable bed and good facilities. The restaurant was pleasant and the breakfast very satisfactory. Staff were attentive and helpful. No wifi - but this isn't a surprise in Cuba. The location is perfect for wandering around the old town centre - overall a...

The rooms were large but it was very noisy because of the location. The bar & restaurant were a bit like Faulty Towers but the square outside was a very pleasant place for a drink. It is well located to visit the major sites on foot.

This small hotel is very old and has been nicely restored. It is in a great location. Our room was on the 2nd floor facing the square and we had no noise issues. This was one of the quietest places we stayed at in Cuba. The beds were comfortable and our room had tons of character. The bathroom had a...

An old colonial buildings right in the centre of this large Cuban town with associated other hotel buildings scattered around within a short distance. Much used by coach parties and subject to a lot of night time noise right outside the shutters, no glazing no natural light. Food so so, location ok - perhaps sufferable for one night but no...
