The hotel location was good and we were able to explore quite well.

I have looked on the Gran Hotel's website but could not determine whether they have hair dryers, either in the rooms or to borrow. They also do not have e-mail. Does anyone remember if they have hair dryers?

Dont remember seeing one in the room. For what i see you are planning to go to Cuba, take one hair dryer with you.Take also meds l( advil, imodium, alkazeltser, etc.) You may find others Hotel along your way in Cuba without hair dryer. When you are done with your trip, give it to someone, they will appreciate it.For the Gran Hotel good luck there. Go to the roof you can see the city from upthere. As an advice carry an extra towel just in case. Even dough the hotel has towels, I am still waiting for them to bring me an extra one.LOL
