You won't find a better location close to the heart of Varadero. Right next to: The beach, Pack Josone, the bank, the Beatles's bar, many many restaurants and close to a few dancing bars, Clinic, Wifi, a little shopping mall and now Boulevard Varadero, all around the block. Take the bus, reserve an excursion at the Quatro Palmas Hotel, buy wifi card, danse in the street, all around the block. Walk to the beach, rent a chair and a palapa, reserve a pizza or a sandwich and a beer with a beach boy, all around 50 meters walk. The bnb itself is perfect, great rooms, breakfast and supper if needed. The hosts are really nice, charming, helpful and dedicated. They waited for us with a lunch and waived us goodbye in a classic car when we left. We stayed 14 days and we felt so welcome! It reminded me of my vote d'Azur vacation when I was a kid. The place is gorgeous. Such a nice change from a big hotel! See you soon I hope.

What can I say? Walking distance from the bars, restaurants and beach, but quiet in the rooms at night. Warm, friendly, informative hosts. Nice, spacious, clean rooms. Beautiful patio with the option of purchasing a massive, tasty breakfast for 5 CUC pp. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Absolutely outstanding! The room was spotless, a/c made it very comfortable, even when the city shut off the water for a couple of hours Orlando switched to his backup system. We had hot water all the time. The food @breakfast was delicious, I felt spoiled. The fresh fruit was the best I’ve ever had in Cuba (7 years). The eggs were very tasty. Our 2nd week was @a hotel for a wedding and the food didn’t even come close to the taste and quality. The grounds around the house are very tranquil and the location is very good. 1 block to the beach, park and entertainment. Orlando and Kaly are very friendly and helpful. We will be back!!!

We stayed at Norma's B&B as part of our Habana International Jazz Festival trip. The property and it's hosts, Orlando and Kaly, were both excellent. Room #3 was spacious and well equipped. The property and its gardens are comfortable and private.Kaly's breakfasts were delicious. Orlando speaks good English and was most helpful with information, if needed. He informed us of the transfer bus from the Cuatro Palmas to Havana and back. It was either 25 CUC or 15 CUC per person one way depending on time of day. It was a little more expensive than Viazul but much more convenient, being only 2 blocks from the casa. You won't be disappointed when you stay here. Thanks Orlando and Kaly.

Such mixed feelings writing this review, but I feel I need to be honest. Let me start off by saying the staff here is so incredibly friendly, they are really lovely and will help you with everything you need. They offer breakfast here every morning and it's really lovely. Our room was big, clean, everything you need. But. There was a very serious mold/humidity issue here. When we arrived they had probably kept the doors and windows open the whole day so we didn't notice it. But keeping the doors closed for a while, they whole room smelled like mold, really disgusting. Every single piece of clothing we had with us smelled like mold when we left the place. Why not keep the windows open the whole day? someone might think. Enter the mosquito problem. A dengue epidemic had just broken out in Cuba a few months earlier, so we wanted to be really careful with mosquitos. And they were everywhere. Even if we kept the windows and door closed at all time, they still found their way in from somewhere so the room was full of mosquitos. Every single evening before we went to bed we had to have a mosquito hunt and kill at least 15 mosquitos. And still we woke up the next morning full of bites. So it was a really unfortunate combination - having a serious mold issue and having the need to let air in and ventilate, but having to keep the windows closed at all times due to the mosquitos. Otherwise a lovely place, don't know if I can recommend it due to the mold+mosquito issue, but then again I'm sure it's one of the nicer places in Varadero. p.s.

:) Atentamente, Orlando

The room was super clean and the casa was one of the cutest and biggest we found in Cuba. The people were nice and breakfast was good. They also let us shower in our room after we checked out because it was free which we really appreciated. Who needs a hotel when you have this?! Would go back.

Me and my husband stayed 2 nights in Norma's B&B in mid-April. The room and the bathroom are both very tidy and clean, the air-con in the room is very quiet and works very well. The breakfast is very tasty! We had fresh fruit juice, fruit salad (very fresh fruits!), omelette, ham, tomato, toasts and jam. This is the best breakfast we had during our trip in Cuba. The location of the casa is excellent, It is very close to the beach (5 mins walk), and there are restaurants nearby, and there is also a small shopping center close to the casa. Orlando and his wife are both very nice, he gave us advise on the transport to go back to Havana. I will definitely return to this casa if I visit Varadero again.
