This hotel is clean, friendly, and provides wonderful tours. The do have lots of steps though so if you have a hard time with steps, beware. The elevators were not usable most of while we were there. Overall it was a good experience.

We picked Fort Young for its location near the city and it's charm. We stayed in a fort room which was clean with plenty of room. Be prepared to do lots of stairs on the property. The breakfast buffet was good but not outstanding. Lunch buffet was also good. Dinner off the menu was very good. The Concierge service on...

I just returned yesterday from Dominica where my group assisted in building homes following the hurricane/tropical storm this summer. The hotel was very clean and modern. I had a newer room this time and found it to be spacious with a very large bathroom and tub. The grounds were clean and the food was excellent. Breakfast stands out but the...

A very pleasant and accommodating classy hotel set in an old fort right on the waterfront and across the street from parliament in Roseau. The staff is very attentive and little details like power outlets in US and UK formats in the rooms show attention to detail. Just make sure you actually leave the swaddled comfort of the hotel to...

Well worth four stars plus – they know what they are doing and do it well. They clearly aim for ‘international’ standards particularly as this is clearly a business hotel as well as for vacationers. Overall, they meet such standards. Rooms are spacious and well equipped (including a reasonable sized desk for once). Food is very good – breakfast is...

Pros:- The Food is good. The rooms was spacious, well laid out and secure feeling. Very Close in the Town area. Excellent water front view. Service was good. Cons;- Elevator did not work for the entire period while there. Many of the Ground staff can be a bit more pleasant by at least not just passing the guess straight with...

FYH is a great hotel w a wonderful staff. Architecturally it is fascinating but hard to find your way around for first few days. Impossible for wheelchairs with its many stairs. Coffee tastes like instant. Overall we loved it and plan to come back next winter.

Hotel was nice however very little pressure on the water in the shower room 105. Hotel is a bit pricy for the room I had. Otherwise overall good place to stay. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful.

Everything was great. Pool, room vidw, service, cleanliness. Food was ok, definitely above average on Dominica. Only complaint is the room lighting which was too white/bluish and sharp. This issue seems to run through all of Dominica. They should really consider importing better lamps with warmer hues. That would improve the atmosphere a lot. Also, could have been more bikini...

A good first class hotel , centrally located on the outskirts of the ramshackle capital , Roseau . A good comfortable base for island exploring ,with most attractions within a scenic hour drive . There is a hospitality desk where individual excursions can be arranged . Comfortable modern rooms , with the ocean front particularly good . Two restaurants ,...
