I spent 14 days loving the place. The food, the vibes, the warmth, location, and tenderness and attention by Iris who helps run the place -- everything was perfect. It's not like staying at a hotel or a B&B. The kindness of everyone involved makes you feel you are staying with family. I truly cannot give cocoa cottages a high...

Yes, this is a special place. I'll have to quote one of the other reviewers in saying this place "feeds the soul". My wife, two children and myself were amazed at the beauty of the place. If you want to forget the everyday busy world of work and complexity this place will wash it all away. A luxury summer camp...

I spent a long week-end with my husband for our birthdays at Cocoa cottages. We loved it ! Imagine...Waking up with the natural song of the river, running below the cottages. All rooms are just lovely and a piece of Art themselves. Open on a beautiful tropical garden view ; Huge plants, flowers, fruits, palm trees, vanilla trees and of...

Cocoa cottages is really a special place. We stayed here for 3 nights in the tree house. This house has no walls! Rain forest flowers and the river are the only thing you can see from your bed, bathroom, and kitchen. The food at the cottage is very good. Both breakfast and dinner are exelent. Lots of variety, local products...

Such a special place! I just returned from my trip to Dominica and stay at Cocoa Cottage, and it couldn't have been a more beautiful experience! The location itself, in the rain forest, was so very healing with nature's symphony all around. The cottages are so charming with open air, swinging beds, and gorgeous views; they are rustic yet fabulous...

We stayed at Cocoa Cottages for three nights, and had a wonderful time. The owners made us feel totally at home, and took care of us like we were visiting friends. We had never been to Dominica before, so were new to everything, and we learned so much from them - from island history, to restaurant recommendations, to logistics. They...

We spent one week at Cocoa Cottage in April this year. All rooms are nice and individually furnished with lots of small details that make each room absolutely special. Iris offered us to move to the tree house after a few days when other guests left it and this was the most amazing place we've ever slept! The food which...

Inviting, warm, friendly, comfortable, colorful, clean ---- and fun, fun, fun. That's Cocoa Cottage in the beautiful and refreshing rain forest of Dominica. The drinks are amazing and the food is delicious. And if you're a chocolate lover you'll think you landed in heaven. Several flavors are made daily on the premises. My wonderful room included a large, charming, and...

We stayed in Cocoa cottages for 4 nights, and it was great - the atmosphere is unforgettable, rainforest all around, and Iris and her cocoa tea waiting after an exhausting day canyoning or hiking...We stayed in the Patchouli room - very nice and comfortable. The stay was a bit expensive, but worth it. Definitely can reccommend if you want to...

Just got back from a 4-night stay at the Cocoa Cottages. Stayed in the treehouse--what an experience! I've never had accommodations as cool as that. Everything was open air--took a shower every night surrounding by the lush rainforest, totally incredible. By the way, the rainforest is a loud place due to birds/bugs/water sounds (which caught me by surprise), so light...
