Secrets Cap Cana was amazing! We came down in early March for our friends’ wedding, and everything was perfect. We initially didn’t know if we should pay extra for the Preferred but we are so glad we did. Our butler, Migel helped us every time we needed him. He went above and beyond! From reservations at the hibachi restaurant, to champagne and sushi, he was excellent. Every morning he informed us of everything going on in the resort, and he’d ask if we needed anything followed by “I’m here for you”. Again, why pay for the Preferred? As I said the butler, but there’s also a preferred pool, beach and the Rosewater restaurant is only for preferred guest. Another bonus is the preferred bartender. Wandel was the absolute best! He made us this fantastic drink, and was always smiling and taking the best care of us. Highly recommend this resort preferred!!! …

This resort is excellent. Beach is nice and water is calm. Food is excellent. We visit a lot of resorts and the food here is better than most. Overall we have been to DR about 8 times and we consider this our favorite resort. Particularly liked the Oceana Steak Restaurant. The Italian is also excellent. The Market Cafe does a great breakfast and Jose does a kick butt omelette. But the buildings and food are not what makes this resort special. It is the employees. In our 8 days there, we never had ANY issues and all the workers went beyond our expectations to make our stay successful. I would like to mention a few who stood out: JOURDAIN was our butler and an amazing one. Always there to assist and help meet our needs. A man with a positive attitude and always a smile to brighten the day. My man is definitely JOURDAIN. GERARD waited on us at most of our lunch and dinner meals. HIs ability to remember what we liked to eat and drink was amazing. He is a jewel. LISSETTE always had our breakfast table reserved. We had a group of 9 people and our table was always ready with a special note on it. Love you LISSETTE !! SONIA & MARIE were our table people at breakfast. Always happy and kept our coffee cups full. Never a sad face from these ladies RAMON was the bar master at the Lobby Bar. Too cool for words. The quickest gun in the DR to fix a drink. ISABELL & CARMEN worked pool and beach drinks. Amazing and always were there and knew all our favorite drinks. KENDIA totally rescued me from a meltdown. I had issue printing our boarding passes and she got the job done. Thanks KENDIA. Wanted to celebrate our 40th anniversary with a special trip. Picked SCC and could not have chosen a better resort. The food, staff, beach, entertainment, pool and room were all top notch and it's only 15 minutes from the airport! This is by far one of our favorite Secret resorts. As others have said, it's the people that make the resort. I have to name a few. Our concierge, Jordain did so much for us during our stay. Answered any questions we had, took care of the arrangements for our COVID test, arranged for breakfast in bed, and cake and champagne and rose petals for our anniversary. Each day he looked for us to make sure everything was going OK and I could always message him if we had any questions. Dania at the Coco Café knew just what I liked each afternoon (tea and lemon cake) Lissette at the Market Café remembered our names (was it my red hair) Johnny took good care of refilling our refrigerator each day with the beer my husband liked and M&M's and pringles for me. Darlin and Abraham at the pool and beach were always ready to refresh our drinks. Antonio and Anthony are just two of the waiters that I can remember that were always happy to wait on us. There were lots of other good waiters, but can't remember everyone's names. The resort itself, is so spot on clean, even the public restrooms. . Our room (5309) was kept very clean which was always nice to go back to. Went to two shows, the Queen tribute and The Greatest Showman. Really enjoyed both. We believe the food and drinks were some of the best we have ever had at an AI. I could really go for a 'Beach Boy' drink right now as I look out the window at all the snow on the ground! If you are thinking about going to SCC, just pack your bags and go. You will not be disappointed. …

Great resort. Our butler Alexis took care of all of our needs. He went above and beyond. For our anniversary he decorated our room with rose petals and left wine and strawberries. My wife was thrilled and made me look like a rock star. He made our appointments at the spa and for any dinners that were for more than our 2 in our party. I can’t recommend Alexis and the entire staff at Secrets any more. Douglas at the Rosewater restaurant was also amazing. Everyone was so accommodating and the service was fantastic. We also enjoyed the shows in the evening. We particularly loved the “Queen” show and the “ Rock and Roll “ show. Drinks afterwards in the lobby was a fun way to wrap up the night.

This place was amazing since the moment we walked in the lobby (which is stunning). The check in process was amazing and smooth. We were in the Preferred Club so checked in at the preferred lobby. We were assigned a butler, ANIBAL who was at our service from the moment we met him. Our room wasn't ready when we checked in (we were early), but Anibal brought us to Rosewater for lunch and made sure we ate and was given an amazing drink platter as soon as we sat down. The drinks and food were great. We ate at Rosewater every morning for breakfast and didn't try the buffet because Rosewater was so good. Our favorite lunch spots was Seaside Grill where my husband literally ordered a Ribeye every day because it was fantastic. Dinner we tried Portofino and the French restaurant. Both were very good, but we went back to Portofino (Italian) because it was our favorite. There were shows every night at the theater (which were great!) except one night. That night there was live music at the pool instead. Some people the deserve a special shout out and who made our trip extra special include: 1) Anibal, our butler who made sure we always had everything we needed. Made reservations, blew up our pool floats, arranged a special dinner, gave us some sunscreen which we asked for, always asked if there was anything else he could do for us. Was there for us when we needed him but didn't "bother" us one bit. He works his butt off to make you happy! 2)Maria - one of the servers on the beach was so kind, attentive, and funny. She made us laugh and was always there to make sure our glass was never empty. 3)Carlos at the preferred lounge bar - Made delicious drinks, was very friendly and kind, and very attentive 4)Wander at the preferred Rosewater pool bar made the best drinks by far on the whole resort. He's got a special talent. You tell him what you want and he will make it delicious! 5)The dancers at the theater were all fantastic and very talented. Great group of people to entertain We were in room 8408 which was preferred Ocean view King bed and our room was amazing. Great view - we enjoyed the sunrise each morning and building 8 was close to the preferred bar and pool. Everyone here works so hard and it shows. They all have a great attitude and are there to make your stay special. Don't forget to tip, tip, and tip again. They are very gracious for you taking care of them and THEY DESERVE IT! If I had to be picky and pick out something they could improve - it would be that there are special events (Lobster night, Havana Night, ect) that are an additional fee. I personally think they should be included since it's an all inclusive resort. Note - I do understand the upcharge for some things - Large Cabana's on the beach, Special Romantic Private Dinner on the beach, ect. Those are justified. But the group events I think should be included. Just my thoughts. We hope we get to go back to this resort, I would do so in a heartbeat. :) B Lynch…
