Your intestines will be very angry with you if you go to this resort! The food handling was atrocious. The only hot food, temperature wise, that I received, was my omelet that was directly from the grill. All other "hot" food was "warmish" at best. The heat lamps and hot plates were clearly non-functional. This concerned me during my stay, but I seemed fine and thought I'd dodged a bullet. I was so very wrong. I missed 4 days of work this week, and if I don't work, I don't get paid. Finally after a trip to my doctor and starting antibiotics I'm slowly starting to feel better. Over 10% of our group of 1200 have had the same or similar issues following our week at Club Med Punta Cana.
After being cancelled from Club Med Miches Playa Esmeralda due to the pandemic, we were reluctantly placed at Club Med Punta Cana. However, any hesitancy quickly dissipated after check-in and settling into the Club Med spirit. This is our second visit to Club Med Punta Cana, and they really do a wonderful job of making it safe, active, fun and easy. Something that other all-inclusive resorts just don't do. The suite at Tiara 5T Exclusive Collection space is incredible. Accommodations are large boasting a master and bath en suite and a children's room fitted with two single beds and their own shower bathroom. They have recently been updated with a clean and modern style. The housekeeping team (managed by Wendy) do a phenomenal job of maintaining the suites as they are cleaned thoroughly every morning and at turn down offering a very safe and comfortable living space for guests. It's nice to experience resort living and regular cleaning of accommodations again post-pandemic. In addition, the team at Tiara (GOs Christelle, Wendy, Max and Lupita, as well as the various local employees like Castillo, Maria, Juan and Aneudy) have spoiled us from the moment we arrived. We couldn't be happier. Club Med Punta Cana's activity list runs the gamut from golf to tennis, sailing to yoga, and salsa to Zumba. And that's just to name a few. I spent my entire week focusing on tennis with Miguel and Ramon, and golf with Jorge. They are all excellent coaches...and great people! Ones I wish I had when I was growing up. But I'll take any time with all of them. They all offered very specific strategies on how to improve my tennis and golf games. …
FANTASTIC!! Our multigenerational family of 10 traveled to Club Med Punta Cana in April 2022 and we had the most amazing time. We all left saying that was one of our best family vacations and we would love to come back. The weather was perfect (not too hot or too cold, with a nice breeze). The grounds, staff, food, activities and entertainment were fantastic! We had so much fun and we would love to return!! There truly was something for everyone from my 6 month old niece in the baby ClubMed program to my parents in their late 60s. We never felt the need to leave the resort. The beach is beautiful and well maintained with nice lounge chairs. The food was fantastic and the menu changes every night so you never get tired of the cuisine. They hosted a beach BBQ lunch two days during our week stay which was really enjoyable. It was difficult to get a reservation at Indigo for dinner, but we managed to get one for our last night and it was worth it. (they should improve the reservation process for Indigo. You need to get in line at the concierge at 7:30am the day before you would like to dine. Spots go fast. If you are staying in Zen Oasis, go to your concierge desk there ). We did everything from snorkel, scuba diving, trapeze, bocce, water aerobics / water gym, pickle ball, work out in the gym, massages at the spa, Baby ClubMed, all the shows, Crazy Signs, beach parties, beach BBQ for lunch, relaxing on daybeds next to the pool and beach, swim in the pools and the ocean, Trivia in the rotunda bar, tasting rum and cigars in Le Cave (rum and cigar bar), dancing, and much more. The grounds are very well maintained and beautiful. The baby Club Med program was excellent. We could drop off my niece in the morning or the afternoon or for the entire day. Lots of flexibility, very kind staff and great kids areas. Staff: Wow!! The staff has always been one of our favorite parts of ClubMed and Punta Cana was the same!! Even the landscapers would say "Good morning" as we walked to breakfast." Thank you to the amazing circus staff: Claudia, Xenia, Rolando, Keiko, Ulga, Jean, Michael, etc! Thank you to Guerison in aqua gym, Estaban in Tennis, Leuri in reception, Luca in Le Cave, Peuzinha in the Indigo Bar, Orlando in Le Cave, and many more! Rooms: We had 1 suite in the Zen Oasis area which was really nice and 4 standard rooms in the building next to the Zen Oasis. We really appreciate that all of our rooms were close to each other. The check in process was lovely (they welcome you with fresh lemonade and luggage service) The standard rooms are no-frills and there are certainly items that need attention: the shower grout needs to be redone, the paint touch ups were sloppy in places, the handle of the nightstand fell off, etc. However the rooms were clean and they had AC which was a must. They provided complimentary baby items for my niece including a pack-n-play, bottle warmer, free formula, and baby food. There is so much to do at this property that we hardly were in our room. Simple rooms has been our experience at other ClubMeds.. so if nice rooms are important to you, definitely upgrade to a suite!…
Our trip was perfect, the resort is beautiful, food is perfect with a lot of choices. All the team is doing an amazing job. Youyou was our little coup de coeur. His energy is amazing. He is so kind and lovely with everyone!! Super trip
We just returned from our stay at the Tiara at Club Med, it was an exceptional experience for our whole family. We rented three of the Tiara suites for our family of 8, including our two grandchildren ages 3 and1.5. The suites were ideal, overlooking the pool and ocean, with a private bar and daily food service as well (which was excellent). Ludivine and her team were absolutely all over ensuring the best quality guest experience possible. There was no request that they could not accommodate, including bringing the sun out on our last day (not sure I can give full credit there, sorry Ludivine). Tons of spots to roam all day, our favorite dining spot was Indigo, where you could get dinner reservations and eat overlooking the water. I would recommend using the Club Med transportation to the property. It is basically the same cost as a shuttle service, but they literally deliver you to the front door of the Tiara property, so you can avoid the larger central check in area where the other guests arrive…far less crowded, so your vacation can begin immediately! The perfect family vacation for kids and adults of all ages.…
