We traveled to Secrets Royal Beach for my wife’s birthday. Rafael made every arrangement to ensure we had a memorable week. It was truly a wonderful week. Also the staff at the preferred bar was great. Antonio, Rosa and La Cheeky were fantastic. Also Angel at the pool bar was exceptional. Also Gabriella and the staff at the preferred club breakfast where top notch. Would definitely go back
We had an outstanding time here at Secrets Royal Beach in Punta Cana. Even during the pandemic I felt safe the staff made sure to sanitize everything! The beach was pristine and we were well taken care of by Claudio. The entertainment group at night was great with Garlfield who kept us laughing. We enjoyed breakfast with Beni & Wilkin.
This was a wonderful trip, we flew in on January 11th. When arriving at the Punta Cana airport we were tested for Covid, it took 10 minutes for the test results and then we were on our way to the resort. Upon arriving we were immediately handed a cocktail and whisked away to the preferred lobby in the back of the resort. We had booked a preferred club, king, pool view room and our butlers Rhianna and Eddy upgraded us to a corner room overlooking the main pool, the preferred pool, the ocean and the lazy river Room #3467). It was absolutely gorgeous! The resort used to be Now Larimar which we had been to several times and is was now switched to the Secrets brand ( which we have also been to many times) with a large remodel and addition. ( The Secrets that was next door is now a Dreams resort, both are owned by AM Resorts, which means you have access to both of them) There was some type of entertainment each night, but I think a man must run that because one night it was belly dancers and the next night it was girls dancing in thongs LOL. The staff was fabulous, I have to give special thanks and kuddos to several of them our butler Rhianna went above and beyond for us with everything and still sends me hearts and messages on facebook, such a wonderful person! Our bellboy, Anissette Guerrero, who should really be a butler, he is such a hard worker and he was fabulous!, He messaged us every morning and throughout the day to see if we needed a ride to breakfast or anything else we might need. (All the restaurants are at the front of the resort, which is quite a hike) The other great, great, person was Babyface, every time you turned around he was there joking with you. I have only a few minor negative remarks about the resort, that management should address.... The minibar people SUCK. The Butler would call and have them leave out requests and the next day they took all our stuff out and replaced it with off brand stuff. This happened on 5 of the 8 days we were there. I know that they are no where near at full capacity but if you are going to close half of the restaurants down each night, you should post that on your site, 2 of the nights only 2 restaurants were open and no buffet any nights for dinner only for breakfast and lunch. If you go to the preferred buffet for breakfast bring a soda from your mini bar because by the time they bring you one you are already finished your food. Do not hesitate to book this resort you will not regret it, we had 8 glorious days and felt safe from COVID every day.…
We are having such an amazing stay at Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana! Orlando has made sure everything has been taken care of for us! I never expected such a wonderful experience. Everything is perfect from the service, room, beaches, pools... everything!! Orlando, we cannot thank you enough for making sure everything is perfect. We can’t wait to come back!
I was here before the renovations about 8 years ago. while the change of sides of property and all the new feautres. Resort looks lovely, and all the new features are wonderful. Service was good, food was so-so. Went in with low expectations due to COVID and all the restrictions and was thankful to be away. Preferred club, was a let down, the preferred club lounge was closed by 5pm every day. no where to easily get your preferred liquor choices. Again food is subjective to everyones tastes. for me half the meals were not good at all. some that was well. Room was PReferred club ocean view on the 3rd floor, not a bad room and was spacious and was plenty of space of the room. Minibar refill was hit and miss. thats about all i wish to share, cause its covid season no need to beat them down on anything that will most likely change once things return to a normal state.…
