My visit to this property left me feeling a bit like I had a Graham Greene experience. The hotel is located on a quite harbor in a backwater Caribbean city. Old Town Pointe-a-Petre is filled with rambling, and in some cases, collapsing buildings. Picturesque, to say the least. The hotel is modern, located a reasonable distance from the airport and...

We spent one night, before embarking o a 1 week cruise. it was mainély chosen, being very near to the port. It was very economic, no luxury, but clean, basic equipment, good self-service breakfast and could leave the luggages behind for a day. Good value for money.

Stayed here one night because it is only about 15 minutes from the airport. As far as I could determine, this is the only hotel that is close to the airport. First, most people flying in and out of Guadeloupe rent cars if they plan to explore the island. There is not much in the way of public transportation on...

Location: This is what I liked best (during the day). It is located in the heart of the town of Pointe a Pitre. It is the only hotel in the town. It is close to stores and shopping...Close to KFC and McDonalds. At nights there are many vendors selling food on Place la Victoire. (sp?). It is also very close...

We stayed here twice recently, before and after a cruise out of the pointe a pitre port. Positives - near the port, 5 minute walking distance. WiFi available in some rooms! Breakfast ok! Negatives - very very basics rooms but if you are looking for somewhere just to sleep this is ideal. Lots of noise - weird bird sounds all...

Hôtel Saint-John Perse Perfect location for a one (or two) night stay on the way to a cruise departure. Nearby, we found a friendly Indian Creole restaurant. Quite small room, clean with the basics; adequate bath but nothing special. TV available and WiFi with help from the front desk. International clientele. On the following sunny morning, we could see our...

Located just two blocks from cruise terminal. Walking distance from shopping area. Not far from ferry and bus terminals (I walked). Good breakfast. Unfortunately Wi Fi was available only at reception area during my stay

We read the reviews but needed a one night stay near airport. It's on the- harbor but you have to look through a grate around balcony to see the harbor. Rooms tiny. Bathroom with see through wall. Halls were dark at night. No room with two beds--just tiny full bed with little platform. Shower was great. Restaurant off of second...

We stayed for two nights. Location of this hotel is very good. Our room was clean and balcony was nice thing to have. Shower did not work very well. Staff at reception was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was quite fulfilling and included coffee from automat, (not very good) juice and bread, croissants, ham, cheese, youghurt, and eggs to prepare yourself....

Room was very small and even a little dirty, if you compare it to its price. However, the hotel has nice location and it is easy to arrive from the airport. The location is also good when visiting the centre of Pointe-a-Pitre. Generally the visit is OK for travelers for one night, but I would not recommend to stay longer....
