We stayed three days and wish it had been many more. We picked it out from Fodor's recommended list which said it "may be too quiet" and, "disadvantage: you need a car" but reasonably priced. Quiet was what we wanted, you could hear and see surf breaking from our wonderful balcony (all rooms have one I think) but no drunk...

My husband and I stayed for four nights and loved it. Lucille is an amazing hostess and helped us twice with restaurant recommendations. The breakfasts are incredible, especially served on the terrace with its lovely view of the bay. I could go for a glass of their passion fruit juice right now! In the mornings we did the quick scramble...

What a fabulous place! We stayed earlier this year and I would highly highly recommend it. You definitely need a car there, but well worth the drive. The view is amazing, the rooms are updated and super clean. Breakfast each morning was such a pleasure. Fresh fruit, coffee, pastries and yogurt. Absolutely loved it here. If you can book the...

This hotel is very well positioned, near beaches and restaurants ( you will need a car). Breakfast was delicious overlooking the ocean and beautiful pool. Lucile was terrific, she helped us with our travel plans and could not have been more thoughtful and kind! Our room was lovely too. A truly fabulous place.

We chose Hotel Amaudo because of all the rave reviews it received on Trip Advisor. And we were not disappointed at all! The small hotel (only 11 rooms) proved to be everything everyone said it was. Our room (#3) had a wonderful view of the water; the room was clean and perfect in every way. The staff, Lucille and Lauren...

Spectacular location, marvellous views, excellent breakfasts. Our room was large, well equipped, with a big balcony overlooking the pool. You could hear the sea from your bed, if you left the door open, something I always love. But what really makes this place is the family who own it. Nothing is too much trouble. It is not a fancy place,...

Hotel Amaudo is in a secluded setting overlooking the ocean in between St Francois and Ste Anne. The hotel is very comfortable and the rooms are modern and spacious. Philippe and Annie were excellent hosts and gave us lots of information and recommendations - they made us feel very at home. Breakfast was delicious and well worth opting for. We...

Between St Anne and St Francois over looking the Anse a la Barque Hotel Amaudo is located perfectly for visiting the sights of Grand Terre. The hotel is located in a residential area so you will need a car to get around. The photos are absolutely spot on as this is a truly lovely place. Our room was on the...

To quote Philippe, the owner, “There are no problems at the Hotel Amaudo”. I would go further than that and say, “The Hotel Amaudo is guaranteed Bliss!” This is true not only because of its spectacular location but also because of the attentive service that anticipates and attends without waiting to be asked. We arrived late at night, but were...

Yes, the view is absolutely breathtaking, and the grounds and pool are lovely. The owners are so welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was superb, but don't expect to be offered a second cup of coffee. The room (#1) was a disappointment compared to other similarly priced hotels we've stayed in the Carribbean and appeared to us to be in need...
