Beautiful grounds and small but scenic beach. Immaculate surroundings and staff super. Food just Ok and large variety. It is an older crowd and lots of repeat guest who seem to know each other.Older rooms on one side that need some updating and yes lots...More
Everything about the resort was a pleasure. From the first "Welcome Home" to the final "Have a nice flight," this was an almost perfect vacation.
The property is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and well maintained. Although the property is large, the restaurants and bars...More
First time coming here and having read other reviews we still didn’t know what to expect.
The hotel and property are beautiful and built into the side of a cliff overlooking the ocean. It’s a very natural setting and unique compared to any other hotel...More
This resort was not for us. It is a beautiful resort, but the guests here felt and looked more like my moms age. Late 60’s-70’s. Which is fine, but I don’t want to vacation with my mom.
My husband and I stayed in the Prime...More
The whole facility needs some TLC. They have painted a lot to keep it clean looking, but in our room the paint was over wood that needed to be replaced. The hair dryer in the bathroom did not work, and while the room was non-smoking...More

There are 3 restaurants and 3 bars, all are different but all are very good and great fun. Beach bar was my favourite for drinks and chats before dinner, then sneak in a lovely martini at the (we found very quiet) martini bar, dinner at one of the restaurants then finish off the night at the Balloon bar which was always buzzing and had live music, which was always exceptional.
There is always somewhere to get a drink and a snack even a snack and drink bar between 11pm through to 6am in the morning I was told, but didn’t personally use it. The swim up pool bar is a lot of fun in the day time.
We used the glass bottom boat a lot, you just book at the water sports kiosk on the beach but it was never fully booked so you can just turn up, it goes out twice a day to different snorkelling sites, which were ok but not the best as it was quite deep, but fun to go for a short boat trip.
We didn’t do the Dunn’s River falls trip as we had done on a previous visit to Jamaica, but other folks said it was not that good, it was not well organised as you were just dropped at the entrance, so you would be better paying to go with a guide once there. Again we didn’t go on the shopping trip as others said the onsite shops were just as good, and not much difference in the price.
Dolphin Cove is very close by so might be nice as a group trip or even a trip up to the blue mountains, but would be a whole day, again we did that on our last trip and it was spectacular, but the concierge staff will have lots more ideas for you, and they are sooo helpful
The two ladies will definitely not feel out of place, we found all the guests (who almost all seemed to be repeat guests) so friendly, and most people were in groups, we went as a couple but soon teamed up with lots of people in the evenings for drinks and laughs. I liked doing the yoga and aqua size so went off on my own, leaving hubby on the beach and met lots of lovely ladies, so I didn’t find it couplely at all.
I hope you all have a fabulous vacation!! And if you think of any other questions please don’t hesitate to get back in touch 😎🏝🇯🇲
