I came here with my friend who had a massage appointment and took the opportunity to eat breakfast here. It was $25 a person but soooo worth it! They just kept the food coming and told me not to be shy. They gave me an abundance of fruit which was delicious as well. After breakfast we cliff jumped which was...

I cannot say enough amazing things about The Caves. Not only about the place itself but about the amazing staff they have working. They cater to your every need. We stayed in a Villa for 3 days as the first part of our 9 day Jamaica trip. This place is so private and tucked away you can actually get lost...

This is an amazing hotel, really spectacular location on the cliffs and next to the lighthouse in Westmoreland. It is the most beautiful hotel in terms of location, service, food and ambience. It is a refreshing change from the large chain hotels on the beach end of Negril. I was in Bird Nest which is the most beautiful room you...

After having visited Golden Eye for our 10th Anniversary last year, we were desperate to escape the Canadian winter, and decided, for the 3rd year in a row, to go to Jamaica! The experience offered by Chris Blackwell's Island Outpost team at Golden Eye rocked our world last year, so we were eager to check out the exotic looking Caves...

It almost feels like you are the only ones at the resort. The food is amazing and so is the service. We went snorkeling with Paul and he made it so fun and pointed out tons of things we would never have seen on our own. The spa was incredible we can't wait to visit again soon!

Very beautiful and laid back. The people at The Caves (many of whom are working here over 9 years!) are so sweet and friendly. Food is very good especially the special Cave Dinner - very worth it! Bar is always open - just help yourself! Views are spectacular. And if you want to try cliff jumping, this is most definitely...

Had a great stay at the Caves for our honeymoon. The cave dinner was really romantic and a special memory we now have. Everything exceeded my expectations with the exception of the quality of our guest room. The room was in need of updating and it was not very clean. Otherwise, couldn't have been happier with our stay.

Wow..The most magical place Ive ever been too. I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I entered the property but I was in awe every moment. Checking in was easy and very informative. I was hungry as soon as we got there so they offered me lunch right a way followed by a detailed tour of the property. We...

Having been to Negril many many times, must say not very impressed. Beautiful views. Good food. Not very many smiles from waiting staff. Office staff pleasant enough. Way over priced! Rockhouse much better value.

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and it was the perfect finish. It was the highest end as far as our budget is concerned but the food Is absolutely of the highest quality. You could easily spend the cost of a nights stay on a 5-course lobster dinner and bottle of wine, but here it's all included,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Caves sits along the limestone cliffs of the West End of Negril, right next to the famous Negril Lighthouse in Jamaica. Although situated only a few miles away from the bustling town center, this private enclave is a world apart. Eleven handcrafted wood and stone thatched-roof cottages, plus a 4-bedroom fully self-contained luxury villa, are interwoven between ten acres of lush vegetation and naturally formed volcanic caves. Quaint stone pathways wind through the limestone cliffs dotted with palm, sea grape and dogwood trees overlooking the Caribbean Sea. An arrangement of coral stairs and walkways lead to sundecks with uninterrupted views of the sea and sky, and grottos with turquoise water pools and fossilized marine life. A tropical reef system comes right up to the edge of the cliff, perfect for snorkeling. Guests can climb down ladders into the sea or take a leap from several “jump points,” the highest of which is 30 feet! An intimate, private and unique resort, The Caves is perfect for romance and relaxation. The Caves generally does not accept children under 16 years old. Exceptions must be cleared with the hotel management. ... more   less
