Ok Folks, first of all the hotel is barely a place you would want to lay your head. The staff in the front office is rude and hardly helpful. We had to go pick up our own iron and board. The board was broken and we had to put it on the dresser. Gheeeeeeeto! The water pressure was terrible breakfast,...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two weeks in June 2013. We had a room on the Garden side, which was quiet and comfortable. There are definitely no frills in the room and the water temperature was a bit temperamental, but overall it was perfect for what we wanted. The staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful (especially...

The restaurant staff at the Legends was extremely nice. We were pleasantly greeted at every meal. Karlene was especially helpful. If a member in my group didn't come to a meal, she would ask where the member was. She called a member on the last evening to she if she wanted a meal to go. She then fixed a to...

We enjoyed this Inn on the beach. The best time at the beach was early morning when the sun isn't too hot and the vendors/hustlers haven't started their routine of selling. Loved so much about this place. We stayed beachside on the patio level and spent some lovely time out on our patio. Things in the room worked nicely including...

We thought Legends was a great place to stay! Its simple and clean and right on the beach. The staff was wonderful, always smiling, and super friendly. We did the all inclusive, so all meals and almost all alcoholic beverages were included. The food was pretty decent, it is most certainly not fancy or exquisite, but its good for what...

You get what you pay for. The room was pretty basic with a great balcony to hang out on after a long day in the sun. If you are buying the All-Inclusive package the food is okay, but the drinks are free! The hotel has a prime location on the seven mile beach. The staff is amazing and so friendly!...

My wife and I stayed at legends for a week in early June. This is our third time to Legends and our fourth time to Jamaica. The staff there is amazing! Like most reviews there, the rooms are okay clean and nice. We upgraded to one of the overhead Ocean view rooms. I would not necessarily recommend this because it's...

Legends is an old school beach place in a great location if you like being on the beach without the touristy trappings. We felt at home there and enjoyed the freedom of movement that a 7 mile long beach provides. The restaurant is good, the staff friendly, especially Karlene.

Legends and Samsara are sister resorts meaning you can use the facilities and the all inclusive benefits of both the "resorts". - Let me inform you before starting the review that none of the 2 places can be defined as a resort. Legends Beach resort, as the name suggests, is a beach front resort- meaning the bar and the restaurant...

This resort was as comfortable as you can get without feeling too touristy. The rooms are well kept and the staff extremely friendly and inviting. We stayed in the portion of the resort that is across the street from the beach. Initially we weren't too happy, but as it turns out, we were right next to the pool, so whenever...

hey all! planning our honeymoon for december 14/15-20 in Negril, Jamaica! we've been looking at every reosrt that suits our needs but all resorts seem to have the same thing. we really like Couples Swept Away, however, it is on long bay like we would prefer, is it that much nicer than Legends? a lot of reviews say the staff is rude(CSA)- I dont want that ruining it for us! How is everyone is legengs-honestly? I really enjoy the idea of being able to stay at one, play at 2. does all inclusive really mean all inclusve? all drinks food/room service, non motorized water sports? Also, tipping, is it included as well? or is it expected from employees at Legends and Samsara? Couples resorts have a no tipping policy which I like the idea of not having to always have cash and employees wont be standing around waiting to be tipped. (if you do tip, whats a decent one?) We also want good food, and not have to wait 45 min to be acknowledged by a server then another 45 min to get food. (many resorts have reviews of this) I understand the rooms in ANY resort in the Caribbean islands are going to have a bit of "weather-ly love," we're not expecting marble floors and brand new furnishings by any means lol but we want something thats cool when we sleep, good view of the ocean and doesnt stink! Basically we want a decent room, good food, good drinks, and friendly staff that will actually go the extra mile to make our honeymoon fantastic! and sheesh the price difference between Legends and Couples!
