Beautiful spot, classic Jamaica. Have to repeat, what we loved most was the restaurant! This is such a peaceful part of Jamaica, apart from the madness in Montego Bay and Ochos Rios. If you call ahead for a special occasion they'll give you an amazing...More
Best resort I've been to.You can't get a better spot. The food is really good and the swimming is so fun. The staff are the best especially the life guard Mikoi, this guy is on top of things. Enjoy the cliffs!
We travel to Jamaica often. Catcha Falling Star is one of our favorite locations to stay in Negril. The staff are very professional and accommodating, the bar is low key, comfortable and fun and the restaurant offers great views of the sea, The cottages are...More
Not our first rodeo in Negril. The only question is "Beach" or West End". All-inclusive people - Go Away. This is a place where one can relate to the ocean and is allowed to just hang and relax if you want to. Not over crowded...More

Depending on the vibe you are going for, I did celebrate my 40th in negril last spring and we split the trip. The later half was at catcha, which in my opinion is more of a romantic hotel than a girls trip. At night the restaurant would be the only thing to do on property, you can obviously go to outside venue- the ltu pub is a 5 min walk but we usually went in the day not sure how hopping it is at night. If you are more of a party crowd i would recommend staying on the beach, if you are more casual, dinner and a couple drinks in the evening than it would be ok.
