We were treated with respect and kindness and it showed that it wsa sencere. Note worthy: The owner (Dan) even gave me big hug to say bye and thaked us an dtolsd us many of the staff voiced there opinion to him that having us a guests was a pleasure. That is sticking to my soul for eternity and I respect that. Thank you from the bottom of our heart and soul for having us. The rooms have everything you need including AC and lets face it you are not living there you need somewhere to shower / sleep etc. The cleaning staff did a great job keeping everything on the up and up. Thank you! There is lots to do, there is s afree shuttle @ 1000 / 1400 / 1800 that takes you into the 7 mile strip area to party / shop etc WTF you like. If not pay a little $8 and go at other times. Therre is Barneys Humming bird farm / The light house / Ricks Cafe / 7 mile beach etc. and oin the same token it is secluded enough to keep it private and quite if you dont want to go anywhere and just relax and enjoy! They have on site security and the staff are pretty in tune with who is who and what is going on around there. Safety = No problem Mon. Jokes aside it is again quite and peacful. Enjoy. The food is amaiozng and Notty can cook up an amazing jerk menu with pork / chicken / chrimp and pleanty of other options on the menu. The Drinks well..... Not sure who makes better drinks Leshawn or Remona..... Guess you'll have to go there and enjoy it (If you have room in your luggage or a guide please let me know I can be hired.....)

Hotel's Favourite
This hotel was PERFECT for my family of 4 (two adults and two kids, 14 and 11). We had our own 2-bedroom cabin with a kitchen and screened-in porch. What you should know is that the inn is pretty out of the way. It worked for us as we had rented a car. There are shuttles offered to the beach 3 times a day (10:00, 2:00, and 6:00). You can also arrange to be driven to pretty much any destination for a fee. (I have no more info on that because as I said, we had a car). The grounds of the hotel are just beautiful, with 2 small saltwater pools and one large chlorinated pool (which we didn’t use because the saltwater pools are right by the ocean and the scenery is incredible). It is not a party atmosphere at all, but you can choose to be social by sitting at the bar. There are 2 restaurants on site, both with excellent and very reasonably priced food! We especially enjoyed the breakfast! The staff all around the hotel was incredibly friendly. The owner stopped by our dinner table to introduce himself and check how things were going. (He also gave us a great recommendation to visit Mayfield Falls which ended up being the highlight of our trip!). The road to get to the inn is rough but worth it! I felt 100% secure on the grounds and they do have someone at the gate letting people and cars in and out 24/7.

The view is outstanding, the people are amazing and the overall experience was, once again, awesome. Not our first time here, and it definitely will not be our last! Oh! And don't miss the seaside grill!

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at Westender Inn at the conclusion of our round-the-country Jamaica trip. It's quite off the beaten path, which in some ways is incredible, but we did end up using the hotel shuttle each day to go to the white sands of Negril beach. I think next time I would stay closer to the beach but the service and value of Westender cannot be beat. Thank you for a lovely stay.

My stay at the Westend Inn was awesome. Traveling alone i was a bit nervous at first but the location and staff made me feel right at home from the start. You are off the main strip which means a peaceful and serene atmosphere in which I was allowed to be rocked to sleep every night by the sound of the ocean waves. I will definitely be back perhaps next year a girl's trip thank you to All of the staff.

This is a unique experience. I really liked this stay because it is nostalgic of the beautiful early countryside of Jamaica I grew up in. It's somewhat remote and has a rural feel. It's charming, comfortable and can also provide a minimalist feel. If you're uptight and boujie this place is not the stay for you (instead boujie people visit early during the day have breakfast/lunch and drinks here and TOUR the grounds). This is well suited for travellers looking to experience the authentic country side of Jamaica, budget travellers, bag-packers, people looking to be remote and those who are tired of all the commercialism.

My review of the property is primarily for those who enjoy getting away from the hustle & bustle of the touristic all-inclusive resorts. The Westender Inn was created for those taking in life's pleasures in a quiet, secluded setting. The hotel is equipped with everything that you need but without the glitz & glamour of typical resorts. For my first visit to Jamaica, I am so glad I discovered the Westender Inn. The property is not brand new by no stretch of the imagination but is very functional for short stays. As you may know, there is a restaurant and two bars on the premise. And, the menu is nothing short of exquisite especially the Sunday night buffet by the sea (including a bonfire & hired DJ, so be prepared for loud party music). As regards the staff, I cannot recall everyone's personal names. However, all were most professional and kind in their service to me. I particularly appreciated the wait staff going out of their way to provide a late-night meal for me after a long day of traveling. The property may brag legitimately about the most scenic sunsets on the island. The room I booked was efficient for my stay. The only complaint I can express was the lack of clearance between the toilet and glass shower wall in the newly remodeled bathroom. Someone of my stature needs a couple of more inches being that I amply built. I would also suggest adding window screens for those who prefer the sea breezes as opposed to A/C. Overall, I will rebook without hesitation and suggest to you their premium and/ or deluxe rooms for the sea views.

We had one week in Montego Bay and ended in Negril . This was a perfect place to finish the last 5 days of our vacation. I would like to give special recognition to Mr. Brown - head of security but involved in everything ! He was incredibly wonderful ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Aqua at the bar was the best server and bartender if there is an employee of the month she deserves it! So sweet and caring giving us undivided attention!. It is at the far end of the island past Ricks cafe but not that far only about 8 more minutes. The good thing about this is you are away from the main strip and it’s very quiet . There is a shuttle that the hotel offers that daily takes you to seven mile beach. We went 3 days and you can use the whistling birds chairs bar and restaurant. The sweet girl who is the youngest one who just had a birthday was also super fantastic! The chef greeted us and he was super sweet. If you snorkel use captain juniors and ask for Andrew to be your guide. He’s the best and stayed close to us and his boat was immaculate. The food at westender is fantastic . If you are there on Sunday do the bonfire and buffet it’s so yummy . They grow much of their own vegetables and herbs so we were nothing but impressed with our whole experience!

Pros All the staff that I interacted with – Katrice, Mr Brown, Kemar, Alecia, and Shadene were all friendly, hardworking and helpful. The WestEnders Inn location is further out than most of the main resorts so it is a quiet and peaceful place. Perfect for relaxing. There is no beach per se, only terraces with lounges and pool areas, so the resort has a free shuttle to the Whistling Bird where you can visit the beach and use their facilities. Staff at the Whistling Bird were Kevin, Miss Gee, the beauty lady, and the lounge man chair man. Wifi was pretty good and was available throughout the resort There is a choice of pools to use (including infinity) The lunch I had was very tasty, the breakfasts were okay. I had a cottage, and it was spacious and well-equipped. The bed was comfy. The staff were quick to check out issues and concerns. The resort is on the same road as Rick's Café Cons Certain areas of the resort look tired and are in need of a refurb. Some of the facilities and appliances could do with an upgrade. It’s a quiet peaceful place but it is a little further out than other resorts.

First time visiting Jamaica and I'm so thankful I stayed at the Westender Inn. The location is ideal if you are looking for an intimate hotel with beautiful views, delicious food (Lobster Thermidor!) and drinks, and a serene ambience. It is no wonder that so many of the guests we met were frequent visitors of Westender Inn. Dan and Sue, the owners of the resort, mingled amongst the guests in the evening and are an absolute delight. The staff were very friendly and always accommodating. We enjoyed relaxing in the pool overlooking the ocean, visiting with guests at the bonfire and were able to visit tourist locations in town during the day by arranging for transportation through the resort. I'm looking forward to another relaxing vacation to Jamaica and hopeful to become a Westender Inn regular.
