Not only was the hotel absolutely beautiful but the service and staff were wonderful too. The rooms are charming with beautiful views and the food is incredible. Especially Kerry was doing her job great :) But most about the country, customs etc I learned from Whittley White, one of the drivers of the Hotel. So if you want to get...

Lovely to hear that despite your short visit, you enjoyed exploring the area and enjoyed the various experiences ranging from the Rafting to the various beaches etc. and got a good feel for this area. There is still more for you to discover so do hope you will return soon to enjoy those as well. So many guests say that...

We stayed here for four nights as part of a birdwatching trip with Mot Mot travel. The room was large and comfortable, with a balcony and a view towards the ocean. The wooden slats, mosquito net and mosquito deterrent meant that we were not unduly bothered by insects - but they are a part of life in this part of...

thank you for your kind words. We hope the memories of your stay with us will remain with you for a long time and keep you warm in the cold there. Perhaps the Holiday Season is a wonderful time to try making that Chocolate tea with a dollop of good Jamaican rum to add to the spirit of good cheer?...

Not only was the hotel absolutely beautiful but the service and staff were wonderful too. The rooms are charming with beautiful views and the food is incredible, one of the best restaurants to check out while there! I would highly recommend this hotel if you're planning a trip to the area!

We stayed here at the end of a bird watching visit to Jamaica since the hotel has a great reputation for birds in its own right. The grounds are lovely, the staff all very friendly and helpful and the food excellent.

Lovely to know that you enjoyed a relaxing time and enjoyable time with us. We appreciate your positive feedback. Thank you! With our very best wishes for the Holiday Season and a Happy New Year! (P.S: The owls are very active now - we hear them every morning! Guess it's their Christmas greeting! )

We absolutely LOVED this place. I have no words to describe how much of a great time we had there. The service, location and food are great. However, the best part of this place is the amazing private roof terrace. We had dinner and breakfast in that special spot every day that we were there and we will definitely go...

The hotel just completed repairs after Hurricane Matthew. Rather than turning us away, our gracious host, Petrona "cooked up" a delightful breakfast while we basked in the sheer beauty of the restaurant overlooking the Caribbean Bay. Would love to go back...a must see for friends..

My partner and I enjoyed three nights at the Mockingbird Hill Hotel in early November with our ten month old baby. The hotel's setting is very beautiful. It is located in the midst of a vast and lush tropical garden with many spots to "hide away" and to snug up with a good book. The rooms are spacious and tastefully...

I recently visited Jamaica for the first time and stayed at Hotel Mockingbird Hill, somewhere I'd known of from other travellers for many years. What a delight. I've stayed at many, many "eco-lodges" or boutique hotels that aim for sustainability, but few if any have succeeded as does Hotel Mockingbird Hill. The rooms (I was in #5) are all different,...

Unfortunately we didn’t like the Mockingbird Hotel at all. The only positive surprise of this hotel has been the young German intern doing all the service there. She has been really lovely and helpful. But: She was the only person working in service there. An intern… Also the hotel is quite run-down. It is old, the furniture looks from the...

Despite the fact that our records show no guests from London, UK in August, and we do not recall welcoming anyone from London during this time (hence our inability to say goodbye) we are sorry to learn that you did not like the hotel. We are however glad that you did enjoy the meals served. Unfortunately, based on your comments,...

After a meandering drive from step back in time Port Antonio, you turn off the main in Drapers, just before Blue Hole and Fairy Hill, is the commencement of a worthwhile adventure. The climb up the Portland-lush hill side, aiming right turn after right turn, is worth it...then there you are, far from the madding crowd on the door step...
