Unfortunately, this hotel was poorly maintained. The security at the gate was not wearing a uniform but dressed very poorly to the extent that we were not sure if he was just hanging out. Upon entering the lobby, it smelled of mildew. My sister went to the Restroom in the lobby. Unbelievable, I took pictures to show the mildew in...

What a great place! While the premises are in need of a bit of TLC,it is still incredible!Very much like staying in the middle of a lovely art gallery. The art and history evident everywhere are so worth the visit. And the staff!Wow!Hats off to Mr Gash,Dawn(on the desk),the attentive wait staff and the very talented chefs. We travel extensively and do not often...

Have always been interested in the property so decided to stop by for a look around. Was met by the head of housekeeping (sorry I forgot his name) he took great pride in showing me around. Saw several rooms, all with round beds and matching décor. All smelled fresh and appeared very clean. Lot's of unique artwork and paintings through...

This hotel had only three guests when we arrived. There were two staff members who did everything. The restaurant had no air condition so we had to eat in our rooms and the food was way overpriced for what they offer. There were no instructions on who to call for room service no business center so we were without a...

The dining options are limited. We went to Woody's down the street for most nights. Need a taxi to go to blue lagoon or boston bay from here unless you have your own car (we drove and it was fun). The property itself is a heritage property and the staff is really nice and helpful. The rooms are dated with...

I went to Portland to celebrate my fiance's b- day, and I have to say I really lenjoyed it. The room was decent and it was affordable. I really love the pool and the surrounding area. We got breakfast at no extra charge, so that's a plus. The hotel was kinda quiet, but i like it that way, lots of...

For starters, Portland is the most beautiful part of Jamaica - rain forest, beautiful beaches and mountain rivers. We stayed at the Jamaica Palace for one week, January 2013. From the moment we checked in, the staff at the JP made us feel at home and in good hands. Throughout our stay, we were ably assisted with event planning, hookups...

AMAZING.. I stayed here as part of a tour of the island. As the tour bus cruised around the blue lagoon i was in mesmerised by this small fishing villiage. When we pulled up outside I was taken in by its grandness, marble floors, decadent decor, beautiful rooms that led onto a terrace. The roon was enormous, imaculate, beautiful. Exactly...

On entering the property you feel as if you were alone, dont know if it was the time of year we visited. The atmosphere change when we were greated by the front desk receptionist who gave us a brief overview of the property and highlighted us on places we could visit during our stay, a very pleasant girl. Things got...
