This was supposed to be a fun vaction with my friends, its hard to get around without a vehicle as path ways are long and dark at nights. Rooms are very stained, rusted and bug infested. At breakfast it was a fight to get food as soon as stuff came out everyone rushed to grab something. The best part of...

I love Fenchman's cove. I have been going there since I was a child and it pains me to see it die like this. If you want to experience a different Jamaica than all-inclusive, party Mobay life, then I recommend going to Portland (It's what Montego Bay used to be 40 years ago before all the development.) Frenchman's cove has...

At its height in the 1960s, the 18 villa vacation property at Frenchmen's Cove must have been superb. Alas, poor maintenance and the odd hurricane have damaged some of the buildings, even closing a few of them. What remains, however, is a resort with spacious cottages and great vistas offered to the public at a fraction of what they would...

I booked as my friends said some good things about it. Popular with the famous, great beach, they used to stay there. But it's not like that anymore. The roads on the resort have crumbled and the room I had have no hot water (not uncommon) The rooms and villas do not have a TV or phone and this is...

We didn't stay at the hotel but spent the day on the beach twice in the last week. It's a two and a half hour drive from Kingston and a much appreciated departure from the usual, touristy North Coast options. The river joins the sea, making the water not-so-salty and not-so-warm. It's a perfect cove with lovely sand, swings over...

Such a beautiful spot in amazing nature, set in beautiful tropical gardens with a meandering river and a magical beach this us so classic 50's style resort hotel with wonderful original vintage design. A great powder sand beach in a natural beauty spot.

This place, simply put, is Magical. The river meets the sea right in this cove. A tributary of the Rio Grande meanders through the property and enters the sea at a small sandy beach. The mixture of the cold river water and the warm sea water is a great sensation to behold. Your body is carressed by cold and hot...

The location of the resort is perfect and Frenchman beach is one of the most beautiful in Jamaica, however as you can read in all the reviews the cabins are in URGENT need of repair. It seems like the owners have not spent a dollar on the property since the seventies. The bathroom is terrible and the sofas in the...
