After a week or so in the more touristy areas of Jamaica, the 3 days spent here were idyllic. The pools are dreamy and offer you a view over Boston sea, the location is stunning, and eco-lodge beautifully crafted!

This is a great place to spend a few nights, away from the main tourist resorts. It is an eco-lodge, with huts and buildings built from natural materials (wood, bamboo etc.) into the existing vegetation. Not for people who are scared to live in a...More

Hello : I live in Kingston. There is a company called Knutsford Express that will definitely take you from Sangsters Airport in Montego Bay, to Port Antonio , and Great Huts can give you the name of a taxi for the 30 min ride from Port Antonio to Great Huts. From Kingston , which is what I did , the Knutsford Express can take you to Port Antonio via Ochi Rios OR via a road we call Junction. The Ochi route is longer but so beautiful. We have had plenty rain this last four months , the Junction road is not as pristine as the Ochi route.

Hello, we were there mid November and it was very warm and humid for us. The tree houses are quite breezy, make sure you book one of those not the houses in the middle of the resort . African cruise was very breezy at night, but the layout is a bit strange (toilet next to the bed). We had bad luck win the weather and it rained most of the time we were there, so would not recommend November 😁
Agreed, a taxi from Kingston is at least 100 usd. the Knutsford is supposed to provide good service. I think Great huts may help arrange a pick up from Port Antonio, they are super friendly and helpful. try contacting them... More
