My wife and I just finished our one week stay at the Grand Bahia Principe (GBP). We just got married and are honeymooning in Jamaica, but were at the GBP attending a wedding of a friend of ours. I want to start off with all of the positives. The resort is HUGE! The property is absolutely massive and beautiful. The...

Arrived after a great 10 hour flight ( Thomson Premium Club upgrade well worth the extra £££ ) , check in quick and a nice cool drink while we waited. E mailed ahead and asked for a quiet room with a nice view, this is exactly what we got , a room just off the Lobby with pool and sea...

I've been to Jamaica over 10 times and I've stayed here twice. Both times where terrible! First time was Oct. 4th-11th, 2016 and it was horrible. The power is the resort went out for 4 hours! Nothing to do. You have to pay extra for the Wi-Fi throughout the resort and it would cut off all the time. Maid service...

So we got there 12/3 no lights on the resort for at least 6 hours. No one from management addressed our concerns. Eventually lights returned just in time for dinner. Great food fyi, but of course AC needed several hours to get to a decent temp since power was out. NEXT DAY 12/4. Woke up to NO water. Waited about...

Second time at this hotel within two years; lots has changed and will not be returning. Too many different statuses (grey, green, cranberry bracelets) last visit we were able to dine at all the restaurants but this time around we weren't allowed because of the new luxury section (DUMB) meanwhile all the Luxury guests are hanging around the Grand section?!...

We arrived on 19th November for a 2 week stay. 8 adults and 1 child (3 couples, and 1 couple with 11 year old son) Although weather was not very nice when we arrived at hotel, the reception we received and the courtesy from staff was impeccable. We had booked a Junior suite, so were allowed to check in at...

Arrived Sunday, no A/C in room, unit only moves room air. Only hot water for showers that evening, no cold water. Day 2 - Room temp no different in the morning and now no water at all. My boyfriend was bitten by fleas from the bed. Spent day trying to get another room. Finally provided us with one, but found...

This hotel has lots of different sections (Luxury, Don Pablo, Standard etc) so make sure you are reading the correct review for your part. We stayed on the standard side with a Golden Club upgrade. Arrival: A little bit messy, after a 10hour flight and an hours coach journey from the airport all we wanted was a drink and our...

We visited the resort from November 24th until December 1st. We were a little worried about the weather reports as it showed thunder showers for our entire trip, but we got lucky and only had 1.5 days of cloudiness but still 29-30 degree weather. We also were concerned about some of the negative reviews. After visiting the resort though, I...

This hotel is a nightmare! I would give give a zero rating if I could. First day no air conditioning. Second day no air conditioning and no running water. Third day no power or rotating outages until sometime after midnight with of course no air conditioning. Fourth day and still no air. Each day the smell of sewage became stronger....
