Love this beautiful old hotel. The rooms are huge. We have a suite with a full kitchen and king bedroom. It's beautiful and the location is perfect. The roof top pool and deck are an added bonus in old San juan. You can see everything from up there!! Great place.

Front office staff were perfect. Friendly, courteous and enthusiastic. The room we had (3B) was interesting, in that the windows opened over the inside walkway (but then we weren't staying here for the view). The reason for the title is the attention to detail that was lacking. For example, the wires from the TV dangled down on the wall above...

Very friendly, helpful staff, especially Jose, who also makes a great coffee drinks. An old hotel with charm, the bathroom was modern (except for the window, which wouldn’t close) with a rainfall showerhead. The bed was comfortable. The high ceiling was covered in stringers and facia bricks. One of the bricks was missing overhead, which made me quite uneasy about...

We arrived after midnight and there was someone there to greet us and check us in in less that 15 minutes. The room was clean with two large double beds and soft comfy matresses that invite you to sleep after a long trip. Our room was updated with modern features, like dark wood flooring and light marble bathroom countertops, huge...

Very nice room, great accommodations, easy to walk to everything in Old San Juan. Most exciting feature in our room was totally modern re-do of the bathroom in a cozy wood motif room. Certainly don't need wheels to get to sights, restaurants, nightlife! Great view from the rooftop bar and pool!

My daughter and I stayed here for 5 days. We had a suite, large sitting area and closed off bedroom. The room was beautiful and really gave you an authentic feel of Old San Juan. I do agree wth a previous review that the water never got hot. However, the climate is quite warm and humid and showering after being...

No telephones, no views, but big windows and great rooftop cafe and infinity pool. Great staff, learned to love expresso, close to everything. Very comfortable bed and great air conditioning. In morning opened windows to outside breeze.

Great place. Would recommend. we had a large room on the main floor. Large but a bit noisy from guests going past at night. Overall a great experience. The street level bar is absolutely wonderful. Also, on the rooftop, a teeny tiny infinity pool is hilarious - I did not try it, but the view from up there is beautiful...

This is a pleasant place to stay in old San Juan, very well-situated and quiet. The rooftop terrace is great with a refreshing dipping pool and decent breakfasts. But for a boutique hotel that's not cheap, it's a bit shabby with hot water that's not really hot, a bed that's too soft, and the world's slowest elevator.

This is my first ever negative review. We travel several times a year and have stayed in various places from AirB&B, Bed & Breakfast to high end hotels. We use TripAdvisor to promote our great travel experiences, not the opposite. We had 1 day in San Juan and decided to book this hotel because of the location. It claims to...
