Very cheap - $125/night My wife and I wanted to go on a 7 day cruise out of Puerto Rico, but we wanted to experience Old San Juan for a few days before. I researched and researched hotels, and SJ Suites kept coming up. To be clear, this is not a 5-star hotel. Do not expect Ritz quality. This is...

We booked this hotel online, sight unseen except for online photos and upon the good reviews on Trip Advisor for cleanliness and safety. It was clean and it was safe. It was also a few other not so great things. This is an old apartment building that is being converted to a hotel. The rooms were strange feeling, as though...

I really loved this hotel, despite some negatives. It's in the center of everything - within easy walking distance of everything in Old San Juan, and some good, reasonably priced restaurants. In all my hotel stays, I've never met a better staff - friendly and always ready to help you. We had problems with the TV and the WIFI, but...

After a 7 day cruise, we stayed at the S&J Suites. I won't tell you the things that the other travelers have told you already. What I will tell you is that San Juan has many hotels, and most are 2 to 3 times the money. This hotel was in one of the best locations... San Juan is known as...

Upon arrival, Raymond, who was extremely helpful with orientating us to the city, met us. He provided us with a map, lots of information about what to see, where to eat, and how to get around the city. The hotel is centrally located in Old San Juan, within walking distance to all of the attractions. Our room was on the...

We stayed here for 3 nights prior to our Caribbean cruise. The hotel is small and located above a jewellery store. There is only a small awning on the street to indicate that the hotel is there. The location is in an excellent area that is convenient to everything, and about dead center in the middle of old San Juan....

This hotel is centrally located in Old San Juan,PR. When you arrive at the front door of the hotel you have to ring the bell to be buzzed in because the door is locked at all times. I was concerned at first like other guests when we arrived at the front door but I think they have it that way...

Hotel is in the perfect location for exploring downtown San Juan by foot. Parking can be a pain but that would be the case with any place in downtown San Juan. We parked in a parking garage 2 blocks away and it was just over $20 for a couple of days. The hotel is extremely basic but clean. I have...

We just spent two nights in room 403 at this hotel. When our taxi first arrived at the front door, we thought "what have we done"? But, once we got to the lobby (on the second floor) things improved greatly. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and informative. The room was very large, clean, and quiet. The only problem that...
