If you want to be in the middle of the action and fully submerged in the culture of old San Juan I would highly recommend it. It is a old style hotel so if you aren't into that I wouldn't recommend it, but it was just what I was looking for. The staff is amazing and very helpful in giving...

Great hotel in the heart of the old city. We walked everywhere. Our room had an amazing view of San Cristobal and the sea. Lots of stairs, so pack light. We needed a hotel with 24 hour check-in, and this spot fit the bill. We arrived at 3:30 am, and had no problem grabbing a taxi right to the hotel...

Stayed for a night pre cruise -- just perfect for our needs -- clean, simple room -- nothing luxurious -- just old school traveler's style -- very spare, lots of character -- and a fun roof deck with a hot tub. Great location -- especially for breakfast at Caficultura! Keep your luggage light -- no elevators and up to four...

We booked DA House for a few days in San Juan after a cruise. The location is superb and the house is a lovely, individualistic old building with character. We had made a slight error with our booking dates, and the owner/staff could not have been more helpful and really went out of their way to sort out our problems,...

Well situated within Old San Juan. Walking distance from a lot of restaurants and touristic attractions. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are interesting, each is designed by an artist. But, the rooms are small, and the rooftop pool is more like a slightly larger "bathtub". Housekeeping are never done by 5 pm, so it's pretty inconvenient to...

Front desk service was nice. The hotel was definitely old, not kept up and showed it's age. The room was dirty. Hairs on toilet seat, sink and in shower. I dropped a shirt on the floor and it was covered in dust bunnies and long hair. There was no television, the phone didn't work and several of the outlets were...

Clean Room. Great Service. Perfect Location and Very Good Price. Certainly basic but I was here to see Old San Juan, not the interior of a Hotel room. 5 stars. Highly recommend to those looking to save a dollar without sacrificing decency.

Very good location in the hurt of old san juan. Old hotel no elevator so if you got a room on the 4 th floor as we got, you have to climb with your suitcases a lot of stairs. Room was ok,but preaty small. The major problem is the high patio they have. It makes it very noisy. You can...

The hotel looks brilliant and bright in photos but it's in fact quite worn out. We have one of the biggest room in the hotel (206) and it is huge with high ceiling which we really like. But there is not even a table andd chair we can sit and work on in the room. The bathroom is also tiny...
