The cost of the room was economical compared to the rest of the market. The hotel was nice, but breakfast was a disappointment and there were small ants in my room. There was also a small step that was barely visible when entering the bathroom. The small step resulted in me ramming my foot into the tile, which split my...

The room was very small with no windows. The bed was comfortable however, with cold AC, good wifi, and a hot shower. There was gated parking behind the hotel. Friendly staff. "Continental breakfast" was only cookies, toast, and cereal. Nothing hot, no eggs, hot water, oatmeal, or anything else!! I thought we missed breakfast at first, but continental here meant...

The hotel was clean and well-kept, however, our room did not have a window. The hotel is centrally located in Mayaguez. The best part of our stay was using the patio in the evenings to relax. The personnel was friendly though not all spoke English. They were very helpful and made our stay very enjoyable.

We stayed at the Hotel Colonial on a recent trip to Puerto Rico. I booked it after reading positive reviews and was pleased with the accommodations. The hotel is about 2 blocks from the Plaza Colon, which appeared to be the center of activity. We checked into the tidy room and ventured out for a nice dinner a couple blocks...

Definitely had a great stay here at the Posada Colonial, staff were very polite and helpful. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, the breakfast was coffee, milk, cereal, cookies and bread. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Place was clean but the bed was not comfortable. Hot water, nice coffee and free parking and continental breakfast. However, we asked for late checkout and were not able to provide it to us. Decent place for the price, but not ideal if you want to rest. It is right in the middle of downtown, so there is a lot...

I recently stayed at Hotel Colonial for three nights and was extremely pleased with my stay! I was in Puerto Rico for business from Massachusetts, USA but the hotel was very comfortable and would be fitting for families vacationing, a couples getaway, tourism, business, etc. The bed was cozy, the AC was adjustable by remote in room, the water pressure...

Hotel El Colonial is located in the middle of the town of Mayaguez. It used to be a convent and they are really proud of their past keeping the history alive with pictures and informatio. It is a beautiful place to stay and relax. Calm atmosphere, excellent service, clean, and refreshing. The rooms are big and comfy.

A no frills hotel located near Mayaguez's central square. The rooms are small- having been a former convent it's too be expected, but comfortable. If you're simply looking for a home base while you explore the island this is perfect. Good price, accessible parking, 24 hr desk service. They serve a small continental breakfast but the Ricomini bakery is only...
