It was a quaint studio apartment that was only 3 blocks from Main Street. The location is perfect for walking to the boardwalk, ocean, and great restaurants. We didn't have a car, but if we wanted go somewhere we called our taxi driver. I would highly recommend using the taxis, ours was a great tour guides. The only issue was... More

The location, hospitality, and quality of the guesthouse were exactly what we were looking for during our three days in Vieques. Jose is a splendid host; he accommodated our schedule letting us drop off bags when we arrived early, took the time to customize our map with recommendations that served us well the whole stay, and was always available for... We rented a car so we had a little trouble finding it at first- luckily Esparenza isn't that big. Clean place away from the main strip with amazing views. It's a fully equipped mini apartment. Kitchen has everything you could need. The bed was a little beat, but we were so tired from all the snorkeling and body-surfing. A/C works... More

A clean and fully equipped guesthouse in a residential area, approximately a 10-15 minute walk to the boardwalk of Esperanza, where most of the restaurants are. We did not need a car and did not mind walking. It is a 5 minute walk to a small grocery store. The guesthouse has a nice sun deck on the roof with a... More

This lovely little inn is set back about a 5 minute walk from "the strip" in Esperanza. It is run and maintained by Jose, a very welcoming, accommodating and graceful host. The place feels like a home away from home. Our flat was spotlessly clean and simply and tastefully decorated. If you prefer to dine in (the roof deck is... More

Beeautiful place to stay. Jose is always cleaning, the place is very clean and close to Esperanza. I have not been to Vieques in two years and Jose told us where to eat, new restaurants, new stores, etc. I made breakfast in my room, it had a very nice kitchen, you do not have to go out and eat, Jose... If you need a haven of simplicity and calm to unwind & recharge, this is the place to come. The apartments are clean, cosy and fully kitted out, but also remain simple enough that you feel you are getting back to essentials. Oh, and lots of light and gentle soothing breezes too. Acacia is very well situated a few minutes... More

“The Orquidea unit was very comfortable, but the bathroom is small. There is a nice sized armoire in the room which is helpful for storing your sundries, etc. so the bathroom doesn't become cluttered. Make a point of checking out the rooftop deck for sunset - so worth it!”
