This resort is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in a Sunset Suite (#210) and it was perfect. Spacious, bright, clean gorgeous views. #208 would be just as nice. The views of the ocean from the rooms, lobby, pool, and restaurant are exactly the way that they are depicted. They tried to upgrade us to a villa on the last night, (I...

WE stayed at Calabash in December and were very pleased with the hotel, the room and the facilities. All the staff were extremely courteous, efficient and welcoming. The room had an enormous free supply of alcohol and soft drinks. We were disappointed with the food however, the restaurant was highly rated and was one of the reasons we chose to...

The whole place is gorgeous with breathtaking views, the staff are all super friendly and helpful and the pool and beach are perfect! As there are only 26 rooms the whole place feels peaceful and spacious and you can always...

Calabash is a jewel, a beautiful boutique hotel on one of the most beautiful island in the Caribbean. We just returned after a week at Calabash and would have liked to stay much, much longer. The hotel's setting and design are breathtaking. The service couldn't be better, more efficient or warmer. Calabash clearly handpicks its staff for warmth of personality...

This is a fantastic resort, the grounds, the views, the beach, the rooms, the food and the staff all fantastic. On arrival we were made very welcome, offered a drink and then taken to our room. A "sunset ocean view junior suite" and wow what a view. From our room we could see the beach, the swimming pool, the wonderful...

What a beautiful resort. From walking down the stairs to the reception we were amazed by the most wonderful view across the bay. It was breath taking. We were greeted by hotel manager Unita who warmly welcomed us and was always there to assist and enjoy friendly chats through our stay. Our room was in the separate block top floor...

The setting of the hotel is in a beautiful bay and facing West the views of the sunsets are amazing. It has some well tended gardens surrounding the hotel which are full of beautiful tropical plants and...

I had the pleasure to stay at the Calabash in January 2015. This is a lovely place! Amenities excellent, lovely friendly staff and probably the best location for a romantic getaway on the fantastic island of St Lucia. Don't hesitate to book. I went for a week but 10 days or two weeks I could handle! I heard one guest...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Tucked away on gently sloping, tropical beachfront on the northwest coast of the island, Calabash Cove is one of just a select few five-star resorts on St. Lucia. Nestled in the sheltered bay of Bonaire Estate, Calabash Cove is perched on a hillside sloping gently towards the Caribbean Sea, where cool ocean breezes provide a wonderful respite and the turquoise sea is offset by the vibrant green of tropical vegetation and views of Walcott Island. A private beach and nearby coral reef provide the perfect place to rest, reflect and dream. The resort has been designed with great care to complement and exist in harmony with the beauty of the natural surroundings. The main buildings of the hotel, such as the lobby, restaurant, bar, sanctuary, and infinity pool with waterfall lie on a slope, with the villas in the midst of lush vegetation perfectly situated to view nightly sunsets. The natural elements of earth, wind, light and water are represented in the exotic wood, stone and natural materials used in the composition of the buildings. The peaceful and tranquil gardens, under the care of one of the finest landscape architects in the Caribbean, have been created to capture and optimize the natural splendor of the area and are filled with vibrant, fragrant flowers set amid groves of trees. ... more   less
