sorry for the late review but having read some of the distastful things mentioned i feel i have to have my say, I stayed for my second time at the Ginger Lilly and as always found it to be idylic. I have travelled substantially around the world and to the caribean, now i have decided that i prefer boutique hotels,...

Unfortunately I waited too long to book for the Cricket World 20/20 event so I could not get all the nights in my first two choices: Bay Gardens Beach Resort or Royal Rex. First night spent at BGBR. It was nice but at the very edge of the hotel & restaurant street so bit of a walk but nice enough....

As our other reviews show we pride ourselves on providing the best customer service and treating everyone that stays with us as "house guest" rather than just another room number. First off this review rates the other larger resort hotels but doesn't give any description as to what exactly was wrong with our suite. If the guest believed that the...

We stayed at The Ginger Lily Hotel for the 2nd. week in June,it is a wonderful little hotel with a great staff who catered to our every need ,as early June is the slow season there were'nt too many people there which made it feel like we had our own private resort . Our room [#1] was excellent ,the pool...

We choose this hotel for the location, amenities, & it was within our budget. We were happy with our decision when we arrived. Our room was also spacious & clean. You will not be dissappointed if that is why you choose this place. If you are looking for anything more, then you'll have to pay for it in St. Lucia....

I have to thank the owners for a wondeful stay and all your lovely staff who really make you feel at home, unlike the stuffy commercial environment in a big resort. The cat was so lovely, we miss being with him and we could see how sad he was when we left him. We hope he doesn't miss us too...

After scouring the internet for weeks, my fiancé and I stumbled upon the reasonably priced, seemingly picturesque and romantic Ginger Lily hotel in the Rodney Bay section of St. Lucia; but despite what you’ve read about the hotel (I question who’s writing the reviews) the romance, beauty, and magic of this place end immediately after check in… We arrived the...

As owners of the hotel who pride ourselves on our reputation, we are obviously deeply shocked and extremely offended that such untruths have been written and have no alternative but to set the record straight. We have a 94% 'Positive Review' record on Trip Advisor and have just recently been awarded the 'Expedia Insiders Select 2010 award' and therefore hope...

Nice and quiet with everything you need to enjoy your stay on the island. Recommend the executive suite with kitchen, which was handy and helpful. We didn't want to eat out for every meal so the kitchen with all appliances was great!

Splendid small hotel -- personal service, large, spacious rooms, very clean -- welcome respite from the travails of Castries and greater Rodney Bay. A major contrast to the large resort hotels nearby. Highly recommended. If you want breakfast, though, better choices across the bay at the Marina. And the bar is a little quirky and eccentric -- the establishment is...

The Ginger Lily was an excellent home for a week. It is a small, boutique type hotel with circa 11 rooms. I had a Deluxe room. Positives: - great location with Reduit Beach about 200 yards away. All the restaurants and bars of Rodney Bay are within 10 minutes walk , including the supermarket. Spinnakers restaurant is nearby, as is...

I enjoyed the Ginger Lily very much. First, the rooms were really Villas with high ceilings and ceiling fans, kitchens, extra large windowed baths and your very own outdoor deck complete with hamock (which I enjoyed relaxing on.) Secondly, the location is extremely convenient: the beach is directly across the street, a ton of restaurants and bars are right down...
