This was our last family trip before becoming empty nesters! We loved Mary's Boon, the friendly staff, delicious food, and loved that it was right on the beach. Our rooms were clean and very spacious. We would definitely stay at Mary's Boon again!!
My hubby took me for my birthday trip and I had a blast! The room was nice and spacious. I loved walking out and seeing the beach. We could hear the ocean from our room and it was relaxing. The staff was friendly and helpful....More

I love this place friendly staff and there is a restaurant on location with great good (try the fish) plus a bar and don't forget the magnificent beach is steps away. There is many activities close by such as local shopping, paddle boating, jetski, etc...
I loved this place. The hotel was clean, and the staff was very friendly and cordial. It's a great place to go if you don't love big resort crowds. It's easy access to the beach and main town. Close to transportation.

Hello, I was talking with Elena, one of the people who run Mary's, and she said although there is extensive damage they are hoping to be up and running again by December. I think the best thing to do is contact then direct a little closer to your holiday, say the end of November for an update. I am sure either way they are trying there best to get things sorted as soon as they can. Up to the last time I spoke with her they had no running water or sanitation and intermittent mains power. And its the same for all the island right now. Such a shame for all involved.
Most of the main structure survived with little damage but a few rooms were destroyed in the garden area. Most of the trees have gone and the beach has been pushed back quite a bit, but this will rectify it's self over time.

The hotel was damaged. They are in the process of cleaning up currently. I don't know if it will be feasible to stay on the island even through the end of the year, as much was destroyed. Phone service and utilities are not operational in many areas. You may try to contact them through the Mary's Boon Facebook page for now. They are able to communicate somewhat in that way.
I hope this helps you.
