Stayed here just last week, the hotel and facilities are great. I stayed in a deluxe studio room with the mrs. The room was massive, I was a little apprehensive before going as a studio apartment in a Europe normally means your getting a shoebox...More
Our room was amazing, perfect view, steps from the beach. A ton of restaurants within walking distance, customer service was fantastic. Easily one of the nicest resorts on the island ! Will definitely return !
This resort was wonderful. It was in a perfect location surrounded by hundreds of restaurants. The rooms had lots of space and were well appointed. There was a huge patio which we enjoyed using everyday. There were two pools very close to us and another...More

You can see the airplanes land from a distance when at the resort beach. Simpson Bay resort is separated by 2 miles of water from the airport. You can see the planes taking off from a distance. Be sure to go to Maho beach it is only about 10 minutes away. Park in the gated parking lot, it was only about $2. We had such a blast watching the planes land over us. We did not see any planes take off, so our time on the beach was very safe and not scary. We just got to watch about 6 planes land within 2 hours! SO COOL! A MUST DO while there.

Hi, for the onsite restaurants.... there is a new Mexican restaurant that has entrees anywhere from 10 -20 dollars USD . Service is good, food is good. There is a bistro restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Rates are between 8 -12 USD by the time you leave. Others have commented that "down the hill" has better food and prices... that would be true. My favorites are Buccaneer's (order the Calamari) and Topper's (most anything is excellent!) Other choices would include Pineapple Petes and Skipjacks for seafood. Just my opine!
