We went to the Rum Bar before dinner and had the best drinks and bar snacks with an unparalleled view. Then on to the Fram to table restaurant where we had incredible service again and amazing libations! Highly recommend spending time walking about the property, grabbing drinks and/or food!
Just returned from an eight night stay at Rosewood little DIX Bay. Really cannot say enough great things about this resort and the staff. The renovation is gorgeous the property is more beautiful than ever. We stayed in the grand pool suite and was it ever grand. I wouldn’t change one thing about the room it was perfect. I believe this was new construction added to the property when Rosewood took over in 2017. The attention to detail and having it blend in with the original resort was outstanding. I thought the tile wall in the bathroom mimicking the original rock walls from Rockefellers “rock resort“ architecture was a very nice touch. I am including pictures of the bathroom because it is not showing on the website and it is gorgeous. The outdoor shower has the original rock style wall and you can see the interior modern take on this. The resort itself is situated on a lovely private bay with a white sand beach and ample shade for those who want it. We were blessed with gorgeous sunsets every night we stayed. The resort is just getting going after a Covid shut down so the occupancy was low while we visited. Nonetheless The resort was staffed fully with every amenity available to the few guests who were there. It is very challenging to get there due to restrictions from the BVI government, but it was so worth it. The butler feature really makes the experience special. We had a tagteam of two highly qualified service professionals, Prada and Rodney made sure that everything we needed or wanted was accommodated in the most gracious way. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a pristine relaxing place to reconnect And recharge post pandemic!…
We learned about Little Dix Bay many years ago. We love the Virgin Islands and had not been back since the Hurricanes of 2017. We decided to visit Rosewood Little Dix Bay this July. We felt very comfortable traveling to the BVI knowing that British territories are strict about Covid protocols. From the moment, we arrived, we were overwhelmed with the beautiful setting! We stayed in the beach cottage, which has a lovely patio overlooking the exquisite tropical plants and beach. It is extremely spacious and well appointed. Two personal butlers treat you like royalty and do everything to make your stay pleasant without being intrusive. Electric vehicles will carry you all over the resort, but we chose to walk, as the scenery and foliage is incomparable. All three restaurants have exceptional food and drinks, incredible water views and outdoor seating. No need to leave the resort to look for a local place to eat… Staff is still masked! We love its eco friendly, farm to table feel, You can sit anywhere on the Little Dix’s magical beach… It is unspoiled, never crowded. Blissful! The fitness center equipment is state of the art, but I chose to run the beautiful half mile beach each morning. Great tennis courts and pro, too! The gracious, friendly, and caring staff is the secret treasure of Little Dix Bay! Surrounded by a gorgeous tropical environment that is surreal and tranquil, it is an ideal place to relax and recharge. We can’t wait to return!…
Breathtaking resort with excellent service, food and activities. No meal was the same. The resort put on a wonderful wine tasting dinner pairing event while we were there and organized several excursions we will cherish for the rest of our lives. I would recommend a room with a private pool and the picnic basket lunch private beach drop for a truly amazing experience.
We had a wonderful stay at Little Dix Bay. Kayson and Allan were fantastic in helping us navigate the resort and the island. We are grateful to them for a memorable trip. We particularly enjoyed playing tennis at the resort. The courts are beautiful, and coaches Luis and Gabriel run a great program. Adrian at Rum Room was so welcoming. We hope to be back
Little Dix used to be my favorite place on earth. It is still beautiful, rooms are lovely and food very good. But at this price point there were some serious issues which makes us very unlikely to return. - butlers can really be disorganized and I don't want to have to text somebody every time I need something. Things that used to be automatic, now you need to beg for, ice bucket to be filled, a duvet for our daughters bed, a sandwich, a reservation at the restaurants. No welcome drink, just our butler telling us we needed to immediately make dinner reservations for the entire week before we even got to our room. Confusing or incomplete info about everything. - After a terrible flight and our ferry being cancelled due to weather, our room not ready late afternoon - we were told that we had to eat at the Mexican restaurant for lunch and that it wasn't possible to just get a sandwich. You'd think they'd be cool serving us anything from the beach menu, but no. - NO BEACH DROPS (even though they are listed on the website) The #1 reason we go here is for the snorkeling and the beach drops to other small islands, plus the Spring Bay trip. None of this was available. And the on-site swimming and snorkeling are basically non-existent after Irma. Spending 5K a day per room and all they offered us was to rent a car or get a taxi instead. - Food at restaurants was really good, but beach service was a mess and a $50 salad comes in a tiny glass jar that's both difficult to eat out of and could hold only about 4 bites of salad. - No more afternoon tea, or yoga or anything complimentary. They even charged extra per night for a cot when my niece didn't want to share a bed with her brother (they had their own room) and for my daugher's cot, even though we were in one of the larger rooms. We booked a deal thru Amex with breakfast included and night manager mistakenly told us that it not included. One of the most beautiful places on earth. The more experienced employees are super nice and helpful. But it doesn't have that casual, relaxed, personal touch it used to. The amenitites that made it unique are gone. Rosewood really needs to up its hospitality game and rethink some of these changes.…
The location speaks for itself, of course. But when you bring a large leadership summit to a remote location, it’s the staff that makes all the difference. A balance of business meeting needs to personal requests were all handled seamlessly by the Butlers and Events Manager, Catering Manager, and Hotel Staff. The organization, communication and responsiveness was better than I have ever received throughout a program. The staff worked tirelessly to meet all needs and exceeded expectations, time and time again. The service was just as beautiful as the location.
Every second of this trip was spectacular! All the staff especially Butlers Mani and Clement made our vacation absolutely perfect. The rooms, the view, the spa, Rum Room and restaurants were absolutely amazing. Highly recommend this resort for a special time. We can’t wait to go back!
The staff was so friendly and accommodating. They were also quick with food and beverage orders which can sometimes be tricky in the Caribbean. We loved the hotel GM Valmar - she was lovely and spent time talking to us and upgraded us because we were celebrating! We loved the butlers Elisha and Alson! They made our trip so easy helping us with everything from boat charters to dinner reservations and spa services. They even opened the spa up early for us so we could get treatments. They have cars on property to rent which makes exploring super easy. The food was amazing- healthy, fresh and thoughtful! I would return for sure- counting down the days until next time little Dix!
We arrived via Boat coming from Guana Island. Check-in was easy and fast, our bungalow (actually the left side of it) had a pool and a nice view of the bay. Everything was well maintained and everything worked fine. Spa: great experience, nice setting. Breakfast: continental was included; the surcharge for two fried eggs a bit hefty. Staff: very friendly, very helpful. Generally speaking, the Rosewood Little Dix is a nice, sophisticated holiday destination. Drawback: it´s a bit isolated from the rest of the world. And when fully booked it´ll become a bit noisy and too crowded at the "in" spots (bars, Dinner). Advantage: it´s a bit isolated from the rest of the world ;) Fluctuation of guests seems to be high, probably average stay is only 3 nights. Mostly frequented by US tourists. For us from Europe it´s expensive, particularly considering other destinations (Seychelles, Far East, South Pacific). Summary: very solid 4 Stars.…
