This place is great, we’d go back in a heartbeat! Me and my wife spend two glorious weeks at Blue Mango in October 2010, 5 nights in one of the Sweet Point Cottage apartments and 9 nights in the Sea Steps cottage. Sweet Point Cottage is nice, the views from the balcony is amazing and the place have all the...

Very quirky - great views but probably better in the dry season as sea very close and very noisy - could do with some maintenance & cleaner only turned up once at the beginnining of stay. Owners not around very much but lovely people.

BLUE MANGO CASTARA TOBAGO We visited Colin, Rachel and Trinity at Blue Mango March 2010, our original idea for this holiday was to tour Tobago, having been twice before, staying a couple of nights at each destination, once we visited the website for Blue Mango we had to change our plans, we fell in love with this unique property straight...

Staying at the Blue Mango in Castara Bay, Tobago is an absolute dream. The past two years my husband, son and I have spent time in the Sweet Point cottages. They are wonderful "off the beaten path" gems. The Blue Mango is for travelers who are looking to loose themselves in tranquility. If you are looking for a place jam...

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Blue Mango in September 2007 for six nights. We had requested the Sweet Point cabin but Colin, the owner, asked if we'd like to stay in the Sea Steps cabin because he was remodeling Sweet Point during our visit. He was very professional about the whole thing and offered us Sea Steps at...

Please check the dates of reviews before you book this accomodation. We checked out Trip Advisor and as there were quite a few good reviews on Blue Mango, we decided to give it a try. We were charged £100 per night and stayed here for 4 nights. I had really been looking forward to our trip as we were staying...

We have just returned from our best holiday ever, staying first at Sweet Point Upper Level (just renovated) and then at Sea Steps (simply stunning) at the Blue Mango in Castara. Yes, it did take about a day to adjust to the pace of life (very very slow), the roar of the sea and the lack of anything to bother...

We found Blue Mango in the Rough Guide which I think more aptly describes the cottages than the website. Booking was a very relaxed affair (pay when you get here). Before we left we had an email saying we would have to spend a night or two in Sweet Point, despite having been told on the telephone we could have...

We stayed at Blue Mango for 7 nights and had a great time. We stayed in Sea Steps. The dining/living area is open and looks right out to the sea. Whilst relaxing on the balcony we fed birds with bread and banana. In the evenings we fed bats by leaving banana on the balcony. The kitchen is well furnished with...

“Sea Steps was extremely close to the waves and can be hard to endure when trying to sleep.”

“Sea Step Cottage is probably still the best; certainly the largest, but they try to reserve it for larger groups. Almond Tree apartment was wonderful. NOTE: The "apartment" is really just one studio room, but cleverly divided so that there is a semi-separate cooking area, a bathroom, of course, the mosquito netted bed. Third choice would probably be the apartment adjacent to it (the name of which I do not know), which is, I gather, slightly larger, but not quite such spectacular views.”
